"Lewis accepted the deal with Marco," Uncle Shark said as soon as he arrived at Lennox's study. He glanced at the stack of papers on Lennox's desk and thought he'd never seen so many documents in one place before. Lennox's workload was worse than Adrienne's, but Uncle Shark surmised it was because Adrienne was more organized and efficient than her husband.

"He took the bait easily?" Lennox raised his gaze to look at the older man.

Uncle Shark merely shrugged and sat on the couch, sipping his tea. Lennox had been working at home these days, and Adrienne had been away from work to catch up on her deadlines.

"He's desperate, like a cornered animal." He answered, "He might have gained his freedom, but Lewis Jiang would soon realize that being free is worse than being trapped inside the prison."
