บท 238: Wang Yani's Death

"Your plan was to kill Xinyan, right?"

The beeping suddenly sped up to at least twice the speed of when Gu Yechen first walked in. Wang Yani opened her mouth and a moaning sound came out, but she wasn't able to make any noise greater than that. 

Gu Yechen scoffed, "Did you really think that if Xinyan died, I would listen to you and marry Gu Kexin instead? Grandma, you should know very well that I do not like for others to tell me what to do. Especially things that I don't want to do. So, even if Xinyan were to die, your plan wouldn't carry out smoothly."

Wang Yani closed her eyes for a few seconds before opening them again. However, this time, her eyelids seemed to be even more heavy than before.

"Grandma, I respect you as an elder and my grandmother. However, what you did is unforgivable. You should know perfectly well that what you did was commit murder."
