บท 164: For the heavens

Mihael had returned.

He'd returned to his castle and the people came running to welcome him in.

Some high angels, some fallen gathered at the front while the rest of them gathered just behind them. There were hundreds of thousands of angels. Many of these angels had come from various parts of heaven, seeking asylum. And not just angels, there were gods in the mix too.

"Report," Mihael said, staring at one particular fallen. 

Bertholo, the fallen general bowed once, almost fluttering with the air like a rag. "My lord, the heavens have fallen. The gods have failed. And intruders await your presence on top of the world tree."

Mihael hadn't yet entered his castle, he hadn't yet set foot in his home… which no longer existed.

He was back, after a long while. And things were so different. He'd gone off in search of pleasure, in search of stimulus to escape boredom. And yet, in his absence, his home, tarnished.
