She had answered the Olympiad questions for several hours without drinking any water. As soon as the elevator door closed, she lifted a glass of water to her lips. Before the water entered her mouth, her nose caught the faint fruity aroma of lemon. "Did Emily give her the wrong mineral water?" Kendall put down the glass, feeling a little conflicted. She didn't like lemons.
"When I get to Damien's room, I'll drink some water," Kendall whispered to herself, making her way to the presidential suite where Damien was staying.
"Knock, knock." The door opened.
Damien was wearing a white shirt with the buttons meticulously fastened. The notebook on the table behind him was brightly lit, probably for official business. "Why did you bring a glass of water?" His brows and eyes curved slightly, showing a bit of curiosity.
"My teammates gave me the wrong one; I don't like lemonade," Kendall explained as she walked into the room.
