A town located in east blue called Elena was raging on fire.
The newbie Gasparde pirates engulf the whole town in the fire and kill every civilian.
"HAHAHAHA that's right, show this sheep what power was all about" Gasparde laughed like a mad man, staring at the burning houses and the howl of the people crying for help.
"Captain! a marine ship was heading in our direction!" One pirate hurriedly said standing in the crow nest while pointing to the South.
"Do you think im afraid of marines?!" Gasparde felt offended as he said with an annoyed tone.
"Boss the marine's ship head is a dog biting a bone!!" The pirate refuted as he almost peed his pants seeing the marine ship.
It's not the ship itself that he is afraid of, but the one boarding it.
It was common knowledge at any part of the sea especially here in east blue where that man was born into.
Gasparde took the spyglass from the pirate beside him and look toward the south direction.
'Vice-Admiral Garp's ship!!!' A cold sweat drip from Gasparde's forehead, recognizing the owner of the marine ship.
"Sh*t, everyone let's get out of here fast!!" Gasparde order his men with anxious faces plastered in his face.
Gasparde was a former captain marine that later betrayed and become a pirate.
He knew if he get caught it's his end, especially for his pirate flag.
Gasparde pirate flag isn't just like any other pirates, their pirate flag was a symbol of the marine with a huge 'X' in it with red ink.

"Should we chase Garp-san?" A man wearing a marine coat with a brown suit underneath and a brown hat covering his eyes ask the man on his right.
"No, let's head straight to the island, they need us more." A muscular man seems to be in his fifties said with a serious face, staring at the burning town.
"Head straight to the Town!" The man with a hat shouted to the other marines and seaman on the ship.
"Yes, Bogard-sama!" They all answered with enthusiasm.
The Marine ship soon arrives at the ruined town where dead bodies were scattered around.
They dock the ship as they disembark one by one.
They look around them and saw dead bodies scattered around by they manage to keep a straight face and searched for any survivor.
The marines were experienced as they searched professionally but found none.
"Lieutenant! there is a child here!" One of the marines shouted to their lieutenant which named Bogard, the one who has a hat covering his eyes.
Bogard immediately went to the marine location and was shocked at what he saw.
An unconscious young boy was holding a baby, about a year old inside a burning wood house, which miraculously, didn't wreck.
The boy and the baby were unharmed and did not receive any burn marks whatsoever.
Bogard carry the boy in his arms while the baby was taken by another marine.
He looks at the boy and baby with great pity as they would grow old without their parents.
A sudden idea pop-up in Bogard's head as he took the boy and baby back to the ship.
"Who's that?" Garp asks in confused seeing Bogard carrying a boy in his arms.
"A survivor, I thought we can't leave them alone on the island so I bring them here." Bogard explains to his boss.
Garp nodded as he took one glance at the boy and the baby.
He took the baby from the other marine's hand and played with it.
"Let's set sail!" Garp shouted at his means they went back to their original route.

"kuchi kuchi kuu~"
"giggle!"
Garp was sitting on the ship's head with the baby in his hand as he plays with it by wiggling his finger as the baby tries to catch it.
It's been an hour since Garp and the others left the Elena and he was starting to get closer to the baby the longer he spent time with her.
The baby was a girl with a cute little hair colored brown and an adorable face that you'll wanna pinch.
Garp smiled seeing the baby's cute smile as a feeling of guilt entered his heart, blaming himself for the death of their parents and family.
'If only I come earlier' Garp thought with sadness plastered on his face.
A smart idea entered Garp's mind as his eyes lit and a smile appeared on his face.
"I'll adopt you guys from now on" Garp mumbled but Bogard, who mastered observation haki manage to hear what he said.
"What?!" Bogard asks in great confusion
"AHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHHA" Garp didn't answer his right man and just laugh like a madman.
"You can't just adopt child Garp-san," Bogard said bitterly but a smile formed in his mouth seeing his boss back to his usual self.
The two continue babbling at each other while in one of the guest rooms, the young boy from earlier slowly opens his eyes.
(Shuraiya POV)
'Where I am?' I opened my eyes and thought looking around the room.
I look around me and saw that I am inside a dark room, laying on a bed with a white blanket on.
The room was shabby, only having some basic furniture.
My eyes widen, remembering what happened that day, remembering the faces of my parents, friends, and family getting killed by pirates.
"sniff..sniff" All I could do was cry remembering the nightmare that will haunt me for my entire life.
"I curl onto the bed, not minding even if the pirates kidnapped me and trapped me in this room.
'Adelle!!' I suddenly thought of my younger sister reminiscing the powerless I felt
watching those beasts slaughter my family like a sheep.
I remember having Adelle in my embrace before losing consciousness.
I tried standing up but I suddenly feel an unbearable pain coming from my head as I fall back to bed.
"WAAAAAHHHH!!!!"
