After seeing Ivy pleading sincerely, Annabeth's anger slowly subsided. 

"... Promise you will write and come see us once and awhile."

"Yes, Godmother. Uncle made me agree to those conditions too. I promise I will write lots and lots, and once I'm better, we can go shopping together like how you wanted." she smiled to lessen Annabeth's worries.

"oh..." Annabeth felt touched and rush in for a hug, "What a sweet and thoughtful girl you are!!"

"And you!" Annabeth points at Peterson, "You better take good care of my cute godchild. If she were to even get a scrape on her beautiful skin, I swear I will castrate you." 

"...Isn't that a little too much just for a scrape on the skin? And the girl is going out there to train to be stronger. She's not gonna just get one but dozens of scrapes on the skin. I, for one, only have one reproductive organ."
