บท 401: The Glory Of Hadi's Escape

Hadi raised the head of Hush to his mouth, "This one ate from us. Show me your resolve!" On saying this, he took a juicy bite from Hush's neck and swallowed.

Hadi's actions surprised everyone, but there were many here that were hungry, and indeed, their beastly nature had long raised its head but the fear of judgement had held them back. However, no longer. 

The first to dive on Hush's body was a rabbit-man. The moment he led the way, the other prisoners rushed over to partake of hush's flesh. Soon, gnawing sounds could be heard as Hush was broken and eaten, by the same people he once oppressed.

Hadi on the other hand turned to a corner, at the rat-man that had jumped into the way for him when he was having his quarrel with Hush the butcher.

This Rat-man, now injured, was dying. 

Hadi walked over and picked him up. "Do not worry, brother, today, you shall not die."Hadi assured him, his voice a soft yet firm promise in the midst of despair.
