"Good, the test is over," Admiral Rudra said, a faint smile playing on his face that hinted at something more than mere satisfaction. He was already looking forward to Almond's future.

Turning off the speaker, he stood and said, "I'm fairly sure that Draven will try to kill you. If he knows he won't succeed in my presence, he won't do it right away. In that case, you and Dagon can go out and bait him."

Almond nodded, mildly nervous, but overall, he was okay and ready.
