บท 28: frozen

Love had always been an intense feeling and everyone knew about that but what people had always ignored, it was hate. A feeling that would lead to destruction.

As Richard was heading out of the palace, he saw princess Lilith from afar and as what he had come to know about her was that her relationship with the king's first concubine had strongly developed.

As the girl continued to converse with lady Amara under the brilliant evening sunlight, she didn't notice his gaze. Her hair seemed to brighter due to the sunrays and her mood seemed to be much elevated.

Ever since he came back to war, they had not communicated. Their words had been left unspoken and all he had done throughout the week that had passed was to give her glances.

Once the princess headed back to her chamber, Richard whose mind had been occupied by her averted his gaze and headed to the horse shed.
