บท 6: Third Power / Heist
Gabriel and Charmcaster walked down the street until they reached a busier area with a lot of brand name shops and restaurants. They were getting a lot of stares due to Gabriel's unusual aqua coloured hair, arctic blue eyes and midnight blue lips as well as Charmcaster's purple eyes, silver hair and strange outfit.
However, this was unimportant to either of them as they were going to get food whether people thought they looked strange or not. After about ten minutes of walking, they found a good restaurant that served Italian food and entered.
As soon as they walked into the restaurant, they were greeted by a man, "Welcome, how many will be dining with us today?"
Gabriel replied, "Just the two of us. You got a table for two available?"
"We do indeed, if you'll follow me then I can lead you to your table."
After being taken to their table, Gabriel and Charmcaster sat down across from each other. They both ordered their food and Charmcaster brought up the subject of stealing the book she needed, "So, you're sure you want to help me steal the book I need for my magic to progress further? It will definitely be difficult just so you know."
"Of course I'm sure, it sounds like it'll be fun. Where is this book anyway?"
"The book is stored in a maximum security vault in the mountains of Alaska. It will be tough to break in and steal it unnoticed, so your strength will be of great use in retrieving it."
"It sounds like it will be a tough challenge, although I might be able to make it a little easier for us. Give me a second while I do something."
"Oh, alright."
Gabriel thought about using his lottery ticket and span the wheel once again. once it finished spinning, he realised he had gained something that coupled with his Symbiote could be very powerful.
Armoured Titan.
The defining feature of the Armoured Titan is the all-encompassing layer of plated, armour-like segments of hardened skin protecting the Titan body. This armour is capable of shielding the Titan from significant amounts of damage. However, the armour has some limitations and is not capable of protecting the user from high-power weaponry. The armour could be used for physical protection as well as offensively, dealing great damage upon impact on anything the Titan charges.
The Armoured Titan is capable of utilizing crystal-like hardening around its body to at least some extent. The Armoured Titan could also use this ability to create claws on its hands and feet.
While it was not necessarily the strongest power, if he was in this form and was coated in his symbiote then his strength would be absolutely immense. He was excited to test out his new power, but in the middle of the restaurant probably wouldn't be the best idea.
"Okay, I'm done now."
Charmcaster seemed a little confused, "What do you mean? It looked like you were just sitting there."
Gabriel smirked a little and replied, "You'll see what I mean later, I'm sure it'll be very helpful."
"I'll trust you on this one, but before we even think about stealing the book itself we need to figure out how to get to the location."
"I think I've got that covered too, don't worry about anything and just leave it to me. I think our food is coming now so lets eat."
After around twenty minutes, both Gabriel and Charmcaster had finished their meals. Charmcaster then asked Gabriel a question, "Have you got money on you?"
"Of course I do, why?"
"Well I was wondering if you wanted to split the bill or if one of us was going to pay for the both of us."
"Well that's a stupid question, we're just not going to pay. What are they gonna do about it? Come on let's go."
"Oh, I don't normally resort to crime unless its necessary for improving my magic, but if you think that's the best choice then sure."
Gabriel stood up and Charmcaster followed his lead, and then they both left without paying despite the workers calling the police. After all, they weren't going to be in the area when they arrived.
They ran towards a much less populated area, and when nobody was looking, Gabriel used his Symbiote to sprout huge black and lime yellow wings from his back, "This is what I meant when I said I had transport covered."
"Oh wow, that's amazing. Is it really safe to fly with those?"
"Only way you'll know is if you join me, what do you say?"
"Absolutely, where do I sit?"
"Well there's no seats, so how about I just hold you while we fly, it'll be more comfortable than getting on my back with those huge wings in the way, trust me on that."
"I don't see why that should be an issue, let's go then."
Gabriel picked Charmcaster up and held onto her tightly enough so that she wouldn't fall and then shot up into the air. It only took about an hour to reach the destination as Charmcaster knew exactly where it was, and Gabriel's flying speed meant they could arrive swiftly.
The location was a huge building in the side of a mountain that was disguised to blend into the surroundings area. Gabriel wanted to know what to do next, so he asked Charmcaster, "Have you got a plan?"
"I did have one but it was made for me and my uncle, with you I was thinking that we could just brute force it and just hope it works."
"That seems like a plan to me. Now watch this." Gabriel put Charmcaster down on the ground where she would be safe, and activated his new power.
He grew to fifteen metres tall and his body was the same as the regular Armoured Titan, except his hair was aqua coloured. He then activated his Symbiote and made it cover his entire body which caused him to become a fifteen metre tall version of himself while in his Sleeper Symbiote form with the armour from his Titan form plating the outside as well. However, the armour was now black and lime yellow as well as being much stronger than before.
This spectacle made Charmcaster even more amazed by Gabriel's abilities as this power had not been previously displayed. She thought he had been hiding it, but it had only been shown now as it was Gabriel's first time using it.
He jumped from on top of the mountain he was standing on down onto the large building holding the book that Charmcaster needed. As soon as he landed on the building, it caused a lot of destruction and sirens started going off.
Hundreds of armed guards emerged and started shooting at Gabriel to no avail as his regular Symbiote covered body was immune to bullets, and now he had enhanced armour as well as an increased size.
He just swiped the guards away and signalled for Charmcaster to come down and join him. She noticed the signal and used her magic to levitate down towards Gabriel's location. As soon as she reached him, she started to search the building that was now empty of life and quickly found the book she needed, "Alright, I've got it so we can get going now."
"Sure thing, where do you want to go now?"
"How about we go to my house? I want to test out these new magic books."
"Let's get going then. I assume we'll be using my wings again."
"You got that right."
After a few hours of flying, they reached a large and eerie looking house.
(Sorry for the late(ish) update, I've been at my girlfriend's all day and got back pretty late).
