"Mother, let us have lunch first. Then we can go to Ibrahim later." Prince Ibarra spoke.
"Can't he have lunch with us?" The queen's voice was tired and weary.
King Duncan and Prince Ibarra looked at each other helplessly.
Amaya was baffled. 'Why cant they tell grandma that Daddy has died?'
"Grandma, I am hungry and excited to eat Lireyan food. Can we eat first and see Daddy later?"
"I don't understand." The queen paused and looked around. "Everyone is here so why can't Ibrahim be not here." The queen said stubbornly.
"Grandma," Amaya looked at her gently. "Three years ago, the night I turned fourteen, Daddy and I were watching the stars one bright cloudless night when he told me that he cannot accompany me for long. I did not understand what he was trying to say until I found him the following morning. He died on his sleep with a happy smile on his face."
It took some time for the queen to process what Amaya has said. Tears started falling from her eyes.
