Since the encounter, the royal consort had become restless but listless, having so many things in her mind that there was barely any energy and motivation left in her weakening body.
It was not noticeable at first, but those in frequent contact with her saw that her appetite kept worsening and she was not doing most of what she used to love to do. Why was that? What could have caused this? Look, she was not even playing her favorite small schemes against the Duchess at the balls and gatherings.
"What happened, my beloved?" the king, Francis IV, asked her one time. This man in his mid-thirties was barely worthy as a ruler, but as lover and a husband, perhaps, even Jiang Li had to learn from him.
If this published on march 1 instead of feb 29, it means I fell asleep hahaha.

Comment suggestions and corrections. I will seriously appreciate them coz unlike before, er, I'm not too free lately so I can't triple check every chap anymore and grammarly is sometimes missing the other basic errors (his, her, it never helps me with stuff like that).
.
Er, I used to write a chap for the next day on the day before so I can let it stew there on ms word for a while, that way when I get back to it later, I can spot more errors and make it more decent (to the best of my abilities I mean). But yup, now, it's all first edit (decode from draft) and grammarly. *peace* so once again, if you spot errors or anything to be fixed/improved, please tell me.

Thanks in advance! <3
