บท 52: A New Plan.

Grayson banged his fist on the door that was beside him, he felt restless, looking around the house uncomfortably.

"How do I even get Denzel to believe me right now?" He said, moving towards the sitting room, sitting on a sofa as soon as he got there.

"I need someone to help me with it, but there seems to be no one that can help me except Denzel. But... for now, I think there would be a little suspicion in his mind since I told him that his friend Ted is an enemy, If he isn't still as stupid as he was then at least.

If he eventually believes that Ted is a traitor, he would come back to me.

But, that's where the problem lies, would he want to believe that Ted is a traitor? Should I frame Ted?"

While he was still murmuring to himself, Leo walked into the room, halting his steps to take a look at Grayson.

"What are you muttering to yourself?" Leo sat beside Grayson, tapping his back to catch his attention.

Grayson moved his body a little, reacting to the touch, "Huh? Ohh Uncle, did you just get here?"

"Yes, did I startle you?"

"No Uncle, thank the Heavens you are here..."

"What's wrong?"

"You see, there is this movie that I am seeing recently," Grayson turned to look at his Uncle as he spoke.

"Movie, but I thought you never watched movies,"

"Ohh, I recently started watching one, and it seems quite interesting,"

"Oh, go ahead then," Leo smiled, looking at how Grayson was unable to hide the fact that he was talking about himself.

"In this movie, there is a guy named Son, and he was special, but in that world, they hated special people. He had a sister that was a vagabond. She planned to take care of some people, to be more specific, to kill them. But she needed someone's help, that was originally why she became a vagabond."

"So?" Leo related the story to Grayson, confirming that Grayson was Son and the sister was Leia.

"So, I... Sorry, Son wanted to save people that might be special like him, and he also needed someone's help. Son's objective and his sister's objective were opposite, so his sister couldn't turn to him. So she became a vagabond, and finally, she found another special person named Den, and she made him see hell. Now Den needs help and he trusts no one except his only friend that stood by his side."

"The movie sure sounds fascinating, what's the name of it?" Leo said, smiling.

"I would say that later.

Back to my story, Son's sister now doesn't want Den dead, so she sent him someone to find him. Son also needed Den's help, actually, he got Den to agree with him, but he never told Den that he was the brother of the person that made him see hell.

Now the person Son's sister sent found Den and eventually told Den that Son was the brother of... you know who... and now, Den is mad at Son, and Den left Son. So Son doesn't know what to do now...

But, that's where the movie ended, and the part 2 release date is not yet out."

"So who is the main character, Son or Den?"

"Son of course, but the main problem is, I want to know what would happen to Son of if there is going any possible way for Son to get out of that tough situation."

"Ohh, I see, but you are not normally interested in those types of stuff..."

"I am just curious that's all,"

"Okay, why does it sound familiar?" Leo placed his hand on his chin, "I think it would be better for Son to tell a lie..."

"Huh, that won't work out you know,"

"Then how about this?" Grayson paid more attention to Leo, who moved closer to him to tell him in his ear.

When Leo was done talking, Grayson looked him in his face, it showed that he was quite curious, "Just how much do you know?"

"I just found out that I know that movie..."

"So Denzel, now that you have eaten and rested, what is it that you wanted to tell me?" Ted walked towards a chair that was just by the side of Denzel's, handing over a drink to him.

Ted noticed that Denzel kept turning on his phone, putting it off after taking a look at the screen.

"Is something wrong?"

"It's 8 pm and I should be expecting his text or call," Denzel said, still taking a look at his phone, while he took the drink that Ted handed over to him.

"Who are you talking about?" Ted said, looking confused as ever.

"Huh? Ohh, I haven't told you a thing...- Wait, did I tell you about Grayson?"

"Who the hell is that?"

"Seems I haven't told you a thing, I am sorry for that, but ever since yesterday night when I left here, things have been on the edge, but before that, the day we went to get me a new phone, a man budge me, giving me a note, and it said I should meet him by 11 pm that night."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I felt I shouldn't tell you until I found out what he wanted, you might have probably told me not to."

"Go on,"

"So he claimed wanted us to join hands, that he has been watching me for years, even before I went to Mountaly, and that he can help me with my plan so I would also help him with his."

"Did you really believe him? How many times do you want to be deceived? Are you just that stupid?" Ted kept yelling, but stopped when he saw the look on Denzel's face."I am sorry"

"No, it's fine, I was really stupid doing that because I recently found out that he was Leia's cousin, I don't even know what they might both be planning. But he told me to meet up with a bird that has been following me, an Owl"

Hearing that, Ted gained more interest in what Denzel said. "So did you meet up with him?"

Denzel found it strange that Ted actually referred to Owl as him when he claimed a bird was following him, "Why did you say him and not it? It's a bird," Denzel said, thinking about what Grayson told him before he left.

"Ohh, it's just common sense, you know, humans can change into animals, and also, what type of bird would just want to follow you for no good reason."

"That's true... But do you know that there are more Beasts alive other than just I and Leia, in fact, many..."

"Are you for real?"

"Yes, and what more, I found out that the Owl is a pawn of Leia, he told me himself that was her pawn. Speaking of Leia, we both met yesterday night, and we fought against each other and once again, Leia beat the hell out of me, and I don't know what else I can do to get stronger."

"You were talking about Leia's pawn, something in me says that you shouldn't leave that Owl alone and that you would be able to get to Leia from it."

"You approved of it that quick?"

"It's the best option... trust me."

"I knew I should have counted on you, instead of listening to some person that can't even open up to me."

Ted let a smirk by the side of his lips.

"Ted, what do you think-"

*Beep*Beep*

Denzel took a look at his cellphone the moment it beeped, and he saw a notification saying that a message had entered. He clicked on it and saw a message from an unknown number saying:

-E, Right now,-

Denzel didn't understand a thing he typed, but the fact that he saw the letter 'E', he knew that it would have been from Owl.

Another message entered, saying:

-Take some clothes, turn to your E, and meet with me at the roof of the building you are at right now.-

Denzel confirmed that it was from Owl, and immediately, he stood from where he sat.

"Ted, I would message you, I have to leave, for now, Owl just messaged me that we should meet up."

"Okay then, but why don't you finish what you were saying?"

"Not now Ted," Denzel stood, ran in, and then came out of the house with a bag. He dropped it on the ground, transforming into his Eagle form, and then picked up the backpack with his feet.

Ted saw as it all happened but could not say a thing. He knew Denzel had no choice but to transform in the house before he left.

On the top of the roof, Owl looked at the Eagle fly up and land on the roof. He walked towards Denzel.

"You can do this also...?" Denzel asked curiously.

"It's time for our first mission, let's move."

"Huh? Are we going somewhere? Then would you help me hold my backpack?"

Owl sighed before Collecting the bag from Denzel.

"Let's go" Owl turned back, taking off from the roof of the house.

"Mission? But I never heard anything about a mission"

"We will talk on the way,"

Denzel also took off, increasing his speed to meet up with Owl.
