He walked along the edge of the barrier, his eyes scanning every inch of the shimmering boundary. The garden was quiet; the only sound was the rustle of leaves in the gentle breeze. The familiar sights and smells of the blooming flowers should have been comforting, but they only heightened his frustration. Everything felt just out of reach, separated from him by this invisible wall.
After what felt like hours of searching, the young lad finally noticed a faint distortion in the barrier, a small ripple in the otherwise smooth surface.
