บท 81: They're not real.
Thirteen landed on a tree and slid down to the ground. He walked around with White and his backpack, looking for Sky Bunnies.
Today's main objective was to kidnap a Sky Bunny.
Operation ride on a flying bunny will come after that.
As he walked about, they came to a small shrine-like place.
Thirteen looked around and walked over to a statue of a person. There were boxes and boxes of things in front of the statue. Some were fruits, some was dirt, but most of them were filled to the brim with different kinds of dials.
There were ALL KINDS of dials in these boxes, though they looked like shells to Thirteen.
He scratched his head and picked up the boxes, thinking that Nami would like them.
As he and White carried around 10 giant boxes of dials, they looked around for anything else. There were some servants running around, muttering something. Thirteen ignored them as he continued searching around.
He came into a room and saw two daggers.
These daggers were double-edged and had hoops at the end of them.
Thirteen tilted his head and White put them in Thirteen's backpack before they continued on.
They continued walking and found another fruit covered in swirls on a pedestal.
White threw the fruit into the backpack and they continued on again.
Thirteen was getting more and more disappointed. All he found was junk. No bunnies.
He finally turned around and left the building, walking away to leave, when a man appeared in front of him. He had long ears, a headband, strange pants, and a drum ring on his back.
Thirteen tilted his head and the man said "Rejoice Mortal. God has graced you with his presence." Thirteen was even more confused. The man added "Why are you stealing from my shrine? These are my offerings…"
Thirteen looked at the man before ignoring him and going to walk past him. The man frowned and swung out a golden staff, blocking Thirteen's way as he said "I was speaking to you, Mortal."
Thirteen looked at him before putting down his stuff. He put his backpack on White and handed him the crates, waving for him to leave. White saluted and hopped away with all the loot.
The man had veins bulging on his forehead and turned to White, only for Thirteen to kick him in the head. The man's head exploded into electricity and Thirteen landed in front of White, blocking the man from attacking him as White escaped.
The man reformed and said "So you're the one who killed my Priest… I see now." lightning started crackling around him as he said "Become my new priest, or die." Thirteen looked at the man and tilted his head.
This guy was like Crocodile.
How annoying.
Thirteen disappeared and he appeared under the man, throwing a punch at the man's stomach. The man sneered "You can-" before being blasted through the shine-like building.
Thirteen looked at the destruction and looked at his hand, he wondered why sometimes he could hit and sometimes he couldn't. It was very strange.
The man appeared in the air and shouted "How dare you, Mongrel! Repent! EL THOR!" A pillar of lightning fell from the sky and landed on the entire shrine place, destroying anything else that was of value, killing the servants, and obliterating the land.
Thirteen fell from the sky and looked up at the man laughing as if he was dead. He actually didn't feel any pain at all from that. He wondered if it was just a bluff and he would appear somewhere else but it seemed that was not the case.
Now Thirteen was just confused.
He forgot about it and turned over in the air, looking at where he was falling. He saw White in the distance, still running back to the Merry, remembering it's scent.
Thirteen flew to the ground and landed in the middle of a battlefield, kicking up a bunch of dust.
The people fighting stopped and turned to look.
The dust cleared to reveal Thirteen, standing in the middle of ruins as the Giant Snake, Zoro, Wyper, Gan Fall, and a man with a giant dog looked at him.
Zoro grinned and said "Nice of you to drop in." Thirteen patted the dust off his pants and looked around, stopping on the dog. The dog growled at him and Thirteen growled back, Zoro's lips twitched as he muttered "Still a big cat at the end of the day…"
Suddenly, the man with the dog said "None of you will escape my Ordeal of Iron! I am the 'Skybreeder' Ohm!" He was about to attack, when Thirteen raised his hand, everyone looked at him as he said "Where are the Sky Bunnies."
Ohm was stunned and looked at Thirteen in confusion, Wyper frowned, and Gan Fall scratched his head, confused. Ohm looked at Thirteen and asked "What's a 'Sky Bunny'?" Thirteen squatted down and drew a bunny with wings before pointing at it, saying "Sky Bunny."
Gan Fall coughed, Wyper pinched the bridge of his nose, Zoro looked away in embarrassment, and Ohm looked at the picture seriously.
He touched his chin and said "Those…" he paused and looked at Thirteen, adding "Don't exist." Thirteen's facial expression changed as he looked at Ohm and clenched his fists.
The other him shouted "FUCK! FUCKING TRASH! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
He stood up and turned around to walk away, Ohm was startled and shouted "Halt! You cannot leave!" his dog barked and lunged at Thirteen.
Thirteen stopped and turned around, punching the dog in the head. He grabbed it by the ear and beat the dog to hell. Ohm shouted "HOLY!" and charged at Thirteen, Zoro moved and stopped him, grinning "You should've just lied. Now he's angry."
Ohm roared "MOVE!" as he started fighting Zoro.
Wyper turned his head before attacking Nami and a small girl, trying to get them to leave the area. Gan Fall flew by and saved them only to get eaten by the giant snake.
Thirteen beat the dog into a hole in the ground, he raised a fist and punched the dog, making the pit deeper. Zoro kicked Ohm in the chest before lunging in and spinning around, using his move 108 Pound Phoenix.
He picked up the strange sword Ohm was using and carried it with him to Thirteen, who raised both fists and smashed down on the dog.
Zoro's lips twitched as he said "Unnecessary." Thirteen stood up and looked at the dog before stomping down hard. The ruins started to shake as cracks spread from the pit Thirteen created.
Zoro sighed and looked at Thirteen, saying "Are you fucki-" before the ground collapsed, sending Zoro, Thirteen, Wyper, and the Giant snake down to another area.
