Ross looks at everybody after finishing his explanation.
Everyone could see that this guy had worked really hard to make this presentation for this meeting.
"This is the end of my presentation."
"If anyone would like to ask any questions, please proceed."
The presentation that Ross gave was well-founded and covered almost all aspects of it.
To have any issues with it without having spent time to have an in-depth understanding of all the facts is hard.
No one really had any problems at the moment till Smith stood up.
"I have a problem."
Ross: "What's your problem."
Smith: "I feel that whatever you said is all data and cannot represent what will happen to us."
Simultaneously a thought came to everyone's mind, "You dumb bitch, without it actually happening, Data is what we look at to make decisions, don't we?"
"We all know that data cannot represent what will happen to us in the future, but that piece of data is all we have to prepare for."
"We need to make preparations based on that data that might go wrong."
"Which is why we work hard to minimize the data's fault and why we sat here to analyze this data."
However, even though everyone thought this, they did not make any sound.
No one wanted to have a conflict with this half-mind man for a mall matter.
They all knew that this much a bickering was typical between Smith and Ross.
Sure enough, they heard Ross reply soon.
"Smith, I'm also aware that my data cannot represent what will actually happen."
"But my data can tell the general tendency."
"By the Smith, do you know what General Trend is?"
Saying this, Ross smiled playfully at Smith.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I forgot that Mr. Smith isn't smart."
"How can he remember such terms."
Ross's words angered Smith.
"Do you dare to repeat what you said, Ross?"
Ross once again stared at Smith with a smile and spoke.
"Humm…. It's quite a strange request, but I will grant your wish as a gentleman as I am."
"Mr. Smith, you don't seem to be smart enough."
This seemed to be just another regular fight among them.
However, it was different this time.
This time the person on the board who supported Ross was retiring, and a new person was about to take his place.
And Smith had planned to take advantage of this and fire Ross from Acacia.
Not only that, he even wanted to kill Ross's future by sending a word out to ban him.
However, although no one was aware of the changes on the board, they could see that their reaction to Smith seemed different from his usual response.
Generally, after hearing a taunt from Ross, Smith would be angry and would even throw tantrums around the office buildings, but today, he seemed happy.
Not only the others, even Ross himself saw the abnormality of Smith.
"Why are you smiling like a dumb man, Mr. Smith."
These words made Smith unable to control his laughter, and he started laughing uncontrollably.
"Hahaha, Ross, jump all you want now because soon you won't be able to jump any longer."
These words caught everyone by surprise.
They did not understand what happened that allowed Smith to have such a massive surge in confidence.
But before they could fall into more thinking, Smith revealed the answer.
"Ross, you relied on your backing from Alfred's old man on the board, right."
"Unfortunately for you, he decided to retire."
"Now, he no longer has any ability to protect you from me."
"This means that today is the last day that you come to Acacia."
After speaking all this, Smith felt he let out a big breath and laughed heartily.
To be honest, looking at the appearance of Smith, he felt like a child who had been bullied for too long and finally found freedom.
His laugh did not feel like the ones from the Villain in a Hollywood movie.
Instead, it felt like the liberation laugh of an oppressed young man who finally attained freedom.
Even Ross began to feel for some time that maybe he had gone overboard, but all this weird feeling suddenly vanished when the door of the conference room suddenly opened.
Rocky, an Intern from the Human Resource department, came to the conference room and said, "Mr. Ross, there is a termination letter for you."
