"Youyou!"
Zhang Chi wanted to hold onto Gu Youyou, but everything dissipated too quickly.
When light appeared, darkness vanished in the blink of an eye.
In Zhang Chi's hand, nothing remained...
"Youyou!"
The glaring light gradually became gentle, the endless white disappeared, and Zhang Chi's eyes regained color once more.
There were blue skies and white clouds, green waters and lush mountains here.
Looking into the distance, a faint white fog shrouded the tiered emerald peaks, a common mist emerging from the woods.
Zhang Chi then looked ahead; he was standing by a large river, where the morning sun glinted off the surface of the water, creating shimmering golden scales, with flocks of waterbirds circling above...
This scene was clearly that of the human world.
"Have I returned?"
Zhang Chi was utterly bewildered in his heart, not quite daring to be certain whether he had returned to the human world or had entered some kind of illusory realm.
