บท 18: Pokemon Saga: Journey of a Lifetime Ch18

The 'Ten Great Deities' are pokemon trainers of high potential. They are trainers who are in the summit. Four of them died of old age and only six remain. The four who died were called the 'Great Four'. The 'Ten Great Deities' included Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Leon, Cynthia, Lance, Alder, Diantha, Wallace. Red, Blue, Yellow, Green died of old age. They were the top four in 'Ten Great Deities'. Now their seat remains vacant. They are still searching for suitable replacements. They have candidates for Green and Yellow, but no one could find candidates who were half as powerful a Red and Blue.

The Great Four:

Red: Red was a trainer who primarily relied on his instincts. He was a powerful trainer who had a Charmander which evolved into a powerful Charizard. He had an powerful bond with his starter, that it broke its limits and Mega evolved without a Mega Stone. He was known as the quite champion until he resigned and gave up the position. He went completely mute after his wife died. Only Blue could understand what he was thinking and talking about. Only his Charizard could hurt Blue's Blastoise. He fancied himself a Sword

Blue: Blue was the polar opposite of Red. He was calm, collected and did his work after planning it out. He was tranquil like the river but can be wrathful like a tsunami when angered. He always relied on intelligence and rationality. It became his biggest flaw as he always applied rationality to everything. His starter was a Squirtle which evolved into a powerful Blastoise whose defense could only be broken by Red's Charizard. He became Red's Pillar after his wife died. He fancied himself a Bow.

Yellow: Yellow was Red's wife. She was a kind person who nurtured her pokemon with love and affection. She was also a Electric type specialist whose starter was an Pikachu. Her Pikachu was said to be the strongest of her kind even if it was not an alpha. Its specialty was its blue coloured lightning. Yellow was the pillar of support for Red before she died at Childbirth. Even though she was a maiden who doesn't prefer fighting she preferred herself a War Hammer.

Green: Green was Blue's wife. She unlike Yellow was cold until Blue slowly made her open up to him. She was a cunning woman who didn't hesitate to use underhanded tactics to win. For her, in this world it was survival of the fittest. A snake would be perfect to describe her, she waits for the perfect opportunity to strike. She was a Grass type specialist. She helped Blue when his intelligence and rationality couldn't. She died at childbirth. She preferred a pair of Daggers.

'It seems like he will reach their level' thought an amused Ben. Ryan now has 192,000 TRC totally. That amount of money is definitely large but you need money in millions if you want your pokemon to be on the level of S rank. Ryan thought that he should be careful, for all he may know the members of Team Rocket may be overcome by Greed and would try to steal from him. It makes him think of muggers of Pewter City.

He can't kill them too. If you are caught killing a Team Rocket member he/ she is automatically considered as traitor or a spy. Team Rocket is not merciful to a traitor. He/ she would be locked in the Dungeons of Team Rocket (Arceus knows where it is) forever. It would be an living hell.

Ryan thought of buying TMs because Dreepy must know a fighting type move and a Steel type move to protect himself from Dark types and Fairy types. Pikachu can learn water type moves but in rare instances. Ryan thought he will buy Water move TMs and check whether Pikachu can learn them or not. Ryan spent 90,000 TRC and bought the TMs.

While he was passing through the mission hall to get to the teleportation point he got a message in TRM. It seems like he has got an private mission from Team Rocket Captain. When he saw who had sent the mission he was inwardly surprised that it was not an Captain but a Executive, to be precise. Team Rocket Executive Lillian.

The message read "Team Rocket Soldier Ryan, you are requested to come to Executive Lillian's Office. Please leave at once, more information will be shared once you get there. - Team Rocket Captain Xavier". 'What do they want with a Team Rocket Soldier?' thought Ryan. He left the Mission Hall and went to the teleportation point and showed him the message. The person hurriedly teleported Ryan to Executive Lillian's office.

As the familiar light went away, Ryan opened his eyes to see he was in a different room. He exited the room and saw a door that had a plaque that said Executive Lillian's Office. He knocked and waited. "Come in" the familiar voice of Executive Lillian boomed. Ryan opened the door and went in.

"Its been a while Team Rocket Soldier Ryan. Please take a seat." She said as she gestured to the chair. Ryan thanked and sat down silently. 'He has become much more cold than before' she thought. "I'm sorry for what happened to Grandma Elena." Lillian told softly. Ryan's eyes became cold as he asked "How do you know?". "Old Man Lucas told me" she replied. Even though she was Ryan's superior she couldn't help but feel inferior to him. It felt like she was standing against an Ancient Pokemon.

She shook herself out of her thoughts and told "There is a mission that I would like to give you. It is an B class mission but possibly can become an A class mission". "Why would you pick up a TR Soldier, that too a rookie?" Ryan asked. "You have finished 23 Missions successfully in a month with a 100% completion rate. This hasn't happened in the history of Team Rocket for a long time. You are a promising rookie that's why I decided to give you this mission." said Lillian.

"What is the Mission?" asked Ryan. "The mission is to record all the information in Mt. Moon and bringing back samples of Moon Dust." said Lillian "Moon Dust. . ." muttered Ryan.

"Good, It seems like you know what Moon Dust is. So the final question, do you accept the mission. Of course, you will be rewarded handsomely seeing how you have performed." she said.

"I accept" said Ryan.
