บท 4: Evolution

[Viridian Forest]

[3rd Pov

In the dense, forest of the Viridian city which is known as the gateway to reach the Pewter City, there could be seen a a young kid with a pikachu on its shoulder.

He is a young kid with spiky black hair, he was wearing a cap with some sort of sign on the cap.

He was wearing light green t-shirt underneath a deep blue jacket and a light blue jeans with a sneaker.

And just behind him.. hiding behind a tree, there could he see a short, orange hair girl, stalking him.

She was a young girl with short, bright orange hair tied into a side ponytail, she also has a light green eyes, enhancing her cuteness.

She was wearing a yellow sleeveless crop top and red suspenders paired with light denim shorts and red sneakers,

As the young kid made his way by those dense forest filled with large trees, bushes, making his way in the forest.

"Ash, are you sure this is really the right way to get to the Pewter City?" The orange hair girl who's name was Misty said, her tone filled with uncertainty and concerning as she knows that in this forest, there are a lot of things which she hate to her core, bug type Pokémons.

"Don't worry, we'll get to Pewter City in no time!! Bet we'll find tons of pokemons here too!!" The boy named Ash said, clutching his hand with a determined expression on his face, determined to catch a lot of pokemons.

Suddenly, a rustling sound from the bushes makes them all stop. Ash, eager to catch his first wild Pokémon, grips a Poké Ball.

"Just be careful Ash, you don't know what's in there." Misty said with a worried tone, worried that she'll see the disgusting thing which she hate to the very core.

And from the bushes, a small, green creature with a small stick in his mouth, taking in the juicy taste that he was getting from it.

"Wow, what the hell is this pokemon? I haven't seen such pokemon all my life!!" Ash said in amazement, gazing at treeko.

"Pikachu, get ready! Let's catch a new pokemon!!" Ash said as pikachu land on the ground with a cute voice.

"Pika pikachu!!" It excitedly said, excited to get a new friend? Or to be of help to his partner?

[Treeko Pov]

'Tch, of all the things I could encounter, I had to encounter the most annoying bug?' I thought, looking at the excited pikachu bringing out some electricity from its red circles on his face.

'I guess it's a given for me to fight! Well, since I'm a grass type pokemon, and a fan favourite one too, it won't be that hard to beat him... since he's still in his early stage and hasn't reached those overpowered status.' I thought, making my mind as I intently gaze at pikachu, letting them know that I'm ready to fight them.

"Pikachu! Quick attack." Ash said, extending his finger toward treeko, wanting pikachu to quick attack him.

Hearing ash's order, pikachu quickly rushed at treeko, from different sides, wanting to confuse me and attack me.

But I kept my composure as I kept my gaze at pikachu and when he finally arrived before me and tried tried tackled me with the force he generated from his speed.

But I didn't let him do that as i spun and used my tail to give a whacking pound attack, at its cute face as it got pushed back to its trainer, with a bruise on his forehead.

"Cool, it's even strong!! I definitely need to catch him!!" Ash excitedly said as he clutch his hand.

"Pikachu! ThunderShock!!" Ash said as pikachu's cheeks glowed with lightening as he excitedly throw out thundershock at treeko.

'Ugh, Ash is really stupid... no wonder he wouldn't won any conference championship in 20 freaking years.' I thought, looking at the idiot who followed the other idiot's excited face.

And even behind Ash, Misty had a dumbfounded look on her face, wondering why he's attacking a grass type pokemon with a electric type attack which won't do shit to me.

'Haha, don't worry Misty. You don't have to spend much time with this nigga here, I'll make you a fine slave.' I thought before averting my gaze and focus to the thundershock that was threateningly coming at me.

I didn't waste any time and use my quick attack to move around here and there, dodging all the thundershock that kept coming at me.

'Fortunately, pikachu hasn't trained and don't have experience right now... otherwise it would be hard for me to dodge those attacks.' I thought, as a bead of sweat formed at my forehead.

I then quickly closed the distance between us and then use the sand and dusts on the ground, grabbing them quickly before I efficiently throw the dust at his eyes, making him close his eyes and block his vision.

"Pikachu!!" Seeing this, Ash shouted his partners name instead of trying to do different attack, as expected of early Ash.

I then extended my arms toward to pikachu who still has his eyes closed since dust entered it and then released a swirlling steam of green energy toward him. The swirling steam of green energy enveloped pikachu in a soft, pulsating light, as I absorbed his health and energy.

"Ah, it's really damn good." I said before I spun around and continously onslaught pikachu with pound continously while he was exhausted and had his eyes closed from the dust that entered his eyes and finally, he was brought down to his knees as he finally got knocked out.

"Pikachu! No!" Ash shouted as he hurriedly came toward pikachu.

[Ding, Congratulations on beating pikachu, the partner of the child of plot. You obtained 1,000 Exp and 500 NP]

[Ding, You leveled up]

[Ding, you leveled up to 16, completing the requirement to evolve, you're evolving...]

Saying that, I started to get enveloped in a bright white light that was comforting and relaxing.

...

"Woah, he's evolving!!" Misty said, looking at the treeko enveloped in white light as his height, which was previously only at her knees increased until it got taller than her, widening her eyes.

She then hurriedly took out pokedex and then scanned the newly evolved pokemon.

"Grovillleeeeeee" he shouted as he completed his evolution.
