He refuses help in his journey from rich parents. he usually just contradicts himself and whst he says throughout the story. Nothing special about this story. oh and Oak snaked him on good starters but he still fed oak ground breaking research for the free. lololol

Honestly this is a spectacular novel, particularly because of 3 factors - 1) It shows pokemon interactions very well, most novels skip this part and just show the pokemon yelling their own species but this novel makes them more intelligent and actually gives time to their daily lives talking to their trainer and each other. 2) MC is a completely different character with little relation to the main cast, but with knowledge of the world, going up against our favorite childhood characters. It might seem cliche but I guarantee this author pulls it off amazingly. 3) This is the first novel I've seen on this site where the MC uses his future knowledge to actually do research, write papers and do something other than just battle pokemon to be the very best there ever was (though that is his goal in the end).

Though this was going to be a cool and interesting story where the mc raises dark types but no his first starter was a useless Pokémon which become soberpowered because of plot even the reason he choose it if blowing through the first 2 gyms is bs. Author also contradicts himself. All the girls automatically flock to the mc and he is basically a cuck oak give him nothing but eh gives oak a ton of research for free???? This story is not worth reading if you want to keep a single brain cell left

I guess I should have left a review sooner but my opinion of The Story So Far it's really good the writing quality is not bad I see minor mistakes the storyline so far is good as well the only issue I have with the story in my opinion is that the chapters are pretty short compared to others which I can't blame you for because you probably are busy IRL and this is a minor issue so far the story is good but I have two issues with the story which is not a big deal it's more of me being slightly salty I guess but the only issues I have is the storyline is a bit slow which I understand you probably want to make the story as long as possible and the chapters are a bit slow as well but other than that it's a really good story I hope you continue it and maybe make the chapter slightly longer and we get to speed up the story because there's almost 30 chapters and we only beat Brock but other than that the story is really good and I hope you keep up the great work and don't drop

Mid. It’s a another trashy harem story and the whole travel with misty is stupid and quite frankly ruined any potential. The definition of mid but people who are beginners to fanfics will probably like it.

Honestamente esta historia me pareció insípida, carece de un enfoque más realista por así decirlo, la relación de Mc y Misty es algo que me parecía muy incomodo, ninguna relación comienza como a los pocos días de conocerse, me pareció de los más forzado y fue muy difícil de leer, es como si el autor nunca hubiera tenido una relación y sinceramente lo leí como hasta el capitulo 25 o cercano a eso, no pude leer mas allá de eso, puede que a algunas personas les guste este estilo de rapidez pero a mi, en lo personal no así que hasta aquí los dejo, igual esto es solo mi opinión y espero no ofender a nadie.
