Alex scanned the Crobat as soon as it came close.

"It has Indigo potential!" thought Alex, shocked.
When he was making the cheat in his previous life, he had already hacked the game to force Pokemon with max IVs to appear in every encounter. Hence, he really wasn't concerned about properly making the IV value of Pokemon appear when he designed the cheat. Since the IV data couldn't be left empty, he randomly assigned the colours of the rainbow for the IV values tab. Violet would mean max IVs while red would mean minimum IVs. Indigo would mean very very close to max IV. Even though he didn't know how exactly IVs were calculated in this real Pokemon world, he could tell this Crobat actually had close to perfect talent.
Alex suddenly felt the desire to capture this Crobat.
Alex also scanned the Pidgeot and Fearow, which he recognised as Uncle Roger's Pokemon. They both had orange potential, and were level 39.
They both seemed to be luring the Crobat which was steadily overpowering both of them into the middle of the park, where no doubt there was an ambush ready for it.
The Crobat got a solid hit on Fearow, after which it started falling. A red light connected with the falling Fearow. This red light came from Roger, who was standing with his Vileplume next to him. The flower petal on the top of Vileplume's head was sparkling as it stood in the sunlight.
"Pidgeot, disengage and come here!" yelled Roger. The Pidgeot started flying towards Roger with an angry Crobat hot on its tail.
Roger held out a Pokeball and aimed it at Pidgeot He pressed a button, causing a red line to hit Pidgeot and return it. He then yelled "Vileplume! Solar Beam! Now! Full Power!"
"Plume" acknowledged Vileplume as it fired a beam of sunlight straight at Crobat.
"Croo" Crobat cried when it was hit dead on. It was thrown back by the impact and was flying a little unsteadily. At that time, numerous yells could be heard from all around the park, "Now Starmie, use Pysbeam", " Slowbro use Psychic", "Butterfree, use Confusion" were among the many cries.
While nothing could be seen with the naked eye, the Crobat was thrown around by invisible impacts that left it flying very steadily. Crobat gave a mighty cry as it tried to fly upwards, but it was very dizzy from the multiple super effective attacks. It started careening left and right until its dizziness finally gave in and it banged into a tree.
A tree, on top of which two boys were unfortunately, hanging on for dear life upon the impact of the three flying type Pokemon on its thin branches.
These two boys were thrown down to the ground by the impact when the Crobat flew straight into this particular tree.
"Alex? Joseph? What the hell?" yelled Roger in shock. He quickly pulled out a Pokeball and threw it out, yelling, "Raticate, use Hyper Fang to restrain the Crobat. Vileplume, use Sleep Powder. Put the Crobat and the boys to sleep! Now!"
A Raticate burst out of the Pokeball and leapt at the Crobat. The Vileplume started using Sleep Powder right on top of them.
"Crobat!" cried the Pokemon as it knocked away the Raticate with Swift. It then proceeded to use Gust to blow away the Sleep Powder.
Alex and Joseph looked up in horror, at the Crobat right on top of them. The Crobat seemed to regard them, and prepared for an attack. It then slightly paused, as it looked at them in apparent confusion. The boys started back right at it.
The people scattered around the park quickly converged. Someone yelled, "What the hell are these two little boys doubt here?" Another yelled, "Never mind that for now. We should put them all to sleep. Butterfree, use Sleep Powder!" "Slowbro, use Yawn!" said another voice. "Hypno, use Hypnosis! yelled yet another.
The Crobat seemed to be hit with many of these sleep-inducing moves. It stilled for a second, but appeared to shake it off and cried out loudly, and then sent a bunch of Shadow Ball everywhere. The Pokemon and trainers scattered. It then started preparing Air Cutter. The attack seemed to be aimed straight down. Right at the two boys.
Alex was feeling dizzy from the sleep-inducing moves which he and Joseph were also a little affected by. But he could see that the scattered trainers and Pokemon needed a few seconds to get their bearings and subdue the Crobat. With the immense desire to survive he picked up a nearby rock and chucked it at the Crobat.
"Joseph!" he yelled while reaching for a second rock. Joseph seemed to get it, as he to started to pick up and chuck a rock. After he threw a couple more, Alex started feeling way too sleepy and lost consciousness. He vaguely saw Joseph throwing something that looked too round and colourful to be a rock.
Roger and the few rangers surrounded the two sleeping boys with disbelief, as they regarded the sky blue Pokeball that stopped moving after shaking for a while next to them.
