บท 270: Step One. Visualisation

Arthur sat at the Western turret with his eyes closed. A familiar dark-haired retainer in a Barthlorn uniform sat on a wide mat in a similar cross-legged posture right next to him.

It was well past noon and the height of the sun's radiance had passed. While still hot, it was nothing in comparison to what it would be at noon. The silver disk spun in the sky as though watching the prince from a distant land.

This temperature, however, meant nothing to a phoenix. The same went for most creatures that lived within the Solaris's domain.

A cold breeze blew through the battlements and bathed the two phoenixes in a cool draft of wind. Arthur took a deep breath, held it in for a while and then let it out.

'At last… A calm mind,' the prince thought to himself.

His stomach was full and his mind was calm.
