บท 265: Old Friend

Arthur walked on briskly with a measured pace. A pace that suggested he was trying to be on time but was not necessarily late for anything. 

The same sort of pace one would use when summoned to Headmaster Frost's office after breaking one of the Deputy Headmaster's unbreakable rules.

His words had grown less and his mood sombre, spanning long sessions of silence that were punctuated by worrying sighs.

Something was weighing him down.

His heart was heavy and his hands grew clammy with sweat. He clenched and unclenched his fists every now and then, sort of like he was trying to rehearse for a very important presentation.

The closer he drew to the South Wing of the Phoenix Castle, the heavier his heart grew.

There were many reasons people visited the hospital. The commonest being to get treatment.
