บท 121: An Exception

Lyra placed the pad down on the table and walked past Arthur. The prince, on the other hand, froze, 'Stay away from…'

'Shut up!' he internally screamed.

Sweat glistened off his forehead as the female dragon passed by him. Their close proximity got her perfume inside his sensitive nostrils… but there was something else.

A deeper scent, much more rooted to her being. A scent that screamed… 'Lyra.' And oddly enough, picking this scent and knowing it was her, calmed him.

"You coming?" the redhead's melodic voice snapped him out of his dazed state.

"Y-yeah," Arthur stammered making his way for the exit as well. The princess frowned for only a moment before walking ahead of him.

"Still can't stand being close to me, huh!" she wondered.

"N-no, it's nothing like that!" Arthur argued.

"No, it's fine. I wouldn't blame you," the girl replied.

Arthur went to say something else but his words got caught in his throat.
