"It's not going to be easy for me, Andi; you still have a chance to get away."
The sisters faced a predicament; Mina's injury would slow them down. With a sense of helplessness, Andi glanced at Mina.
"You can't get rid of me that easily, sister."
Mina tried to stand up, but the pain in her ankle was too much. Andi knew they had to come up with a plan quickly if they wanted to survive.
They were lost in their thoughts, completely oblivious to their surroundings as they looked around for a solution, Andi's eyes landed on a horned serpent. She reached out to Mina, trying to get her attention.
"Andi, can you stop shaking me?"
Mina looked at Andi questioningly. She saw that her sister was petrified.
"Look," Andi whispered, pointing towards the serpent slithering towards them. Even the sound approaching them from behind could not be compared to the fear that gripped them at that moment.
