The Emperor did not go inside the room where the prisoners were kept, the guards took his majesty to another room that was fully clean as the Emperor sat there saying " Go and Bring Magnus."
The two guards bowed obediently and rushed out of the room in order to go to the cells and bring Magnus to his majesty just as he asked.
The Emperor did not have to wait for a long time because the guards only took less than five minutes to go and bring Magnus.
The fact that Magnus can't read and write is essential and u all will see why at the end of the book.
