บท 142: Only Magic Remains

Have you ever been with someone you can't let go of?

You knew staying with them would be the end for you, but you stayed, anyway.

Our relationship was like a thin rope between us. I was holding on tight to the end of the rope, the same as he was. We knew the rope was so worn out, it was about to break, but neither of us was willing to mention that part. While doing that, we kept hurting each other as badly as we could.

I was scared. The way he forced himself on me, I thought he was as scared as I was. Maybe we were scared because we might not be able to be together after all that happened. We were scared to admit that things would possibly go wrong.

We were worlds away, so different from each other that we weren't supposed to meet, at all.

Occasionally, we would act as if we were meant for each other. When at times, we lived our lives like nothing ever happened between us. Like that, over and over again.
