บท 2: ~Background~

It was in Shiganshina District my brother, his friends and I heard a loud *CRASH* we went to go see what had happened and what we saw scared us out of our minds. A titan had broken wall Maria. We saw rocks flying everywhere and we rushed to our house while Armin stayed. We ran home and saw an enormous rock had landed on our house.
I could see our mom sticking out, Eren, Mikasa, and I tried to get the wood of her but it was too late. We could see a titan coming to our house. Hannes was coming so he could kill the titan but once he saw the titan he ran away. He carried Eren and pulled Mikasa to him and I followed behind. I looked back and saw the titan eat our mom.
Eren was so mad that day he blamed it on himself and I also blamed myself for not staying with mom, but it made me think if I didn't leave who would take care of Mikasa and Eren especially Eren. After that Hannes took us to the boats to get to Wall Rose.
It was there where I had to survive for food and everything. Eren did not change his mind on going to become a scout I also decided that I would be a scout but me being older I would go ahead of him on being a scout. I already knew when I would have to leave, Mikasa would take care of Eren for me.
When I left them, so I could go be a scout I reminded myself it's for Eren, Mikasa, mom, and dad even though she didn't like the idea before now I really have to do it. When I got there, there was a very looking scary man named Keith Shadis. He was going to be our instructor.
(Time Skip because author Chan is too lazy to do the whole training thing)
Our mission to Trost was successful but most of my squad members had died. It was horrible to look at. People that had gotten distracted and would get eaten so, I would go and save them. I knew I shouldn't do it because it looked like some people had a death wish or something. But my body just moved on its own.
I still did cut the napes of their necks and when I did all I could see what titan blood everywhere and titans falling. I thought I could feel someone looking at me with daggers it freaked me out so much I lost control of my ODM gear. Then everything went blank.
I woke up in a bed and realized I was in the clinic. I got out of the bed but then someone came into the room that I didn't recognize and told me to lay down again. I woke up later and then next to the bed there were letters on the nightstand. The letters were for me, one was from my Eren and Mikasa. The other was from someone named Captain Levi I didn't know who that was. I opened the letter and it said.
To: Y/n
If you are reading this then you are awake, that's good I want to talk to you about your mission to Trost. When you are able to, wake up come to my office so we may be able to speak. I have some questions that I want you to answer. If you think you can get out of this you are wrong this is an order.
Oh, also I was the one who brought you into the clinic if you are wondering. I suggest you hurry it up brat I don't have all day. If you don't come at least by the end of the day you will have cleaning duty at least for a month and this is no joke I mean it. Hurry and get better brat.

I was in shock then that's when I realized it's The Captain Levi part of The Special Operations Squad. But I didn't worry about it I still had time before I would go to his office. So I just read the other letter from Eren and Mikasa and what they told me made me happy and made me worry at the same time.
To: Y/n
Hey Y/n how are we miss you and guess what in at least 2 years we can finally go to Military Training Corps so we can be with you but you might be done being in the training corps won't you oh well we miss you and remember come write us and maybe see if you could visit us. Mikasa and Armin are also coming with me too.
Also, I was wondering what are you going to choose Survey Corps, Military Police, or the Garrison. If it was me and when I get there I will choose the Survey Corps. We are excited too, love you big sis please be safe and we love you.
I was really happy that Mikasa, Armin, and Eren were okay I was shocked when Eren said Armin was coming too. Mikasa, I knew she would she has always followed Eren and probably always will. And I trust her taking care of our trouble-making brother. What worried me is that, when they'll have to go on their own mission and kill titans.
I trust them but Eren can worry me the most because of what he said that day, that titan ate out mom he would go crazy just when someone would mention titans. But I believe in him what got me was which I would choose Military Police Survey Corps or the Garrison. I was really thinking of joining the scout regiment.
That's when I remembered I had to go see Captain Levi in his office. I rushed to get out of my bed and to his office. I then knocked on the door "Name and business.." "Y/n L/n you gave me a letter saying you wanted to see me." "Come in." I opened the door and saw Captain Levi sitting at his desk. He told me to sit down and I did as he said. "So why am I here captain?" "First when we are alone just call me by my name.
Second I wanted to ask you why did you save those other cadets even when they were about to die you could have left them but you went to go save them, you could have died in the process why cadet?" His question made me think why did I risk my life to help them." I don't know why I did it my body just moved on its own." He looked at me with a confused face and then it changed to a cold face, weird I thought.
"I would like you to join the Scout Regiment." I was shocked by his words. "I was already thinking of joining the scouts" I said. "Good, then you will be on my squad." I was shocked by his words being on the Levi squad. "But I will have to test you before you do so." "Ok," I said to him. After that I left his office I was scared, excited, and nervous for the test.
That night I could not sleep. I was just waiting for the day to come so I could show my moves. The only thing I was worried for was if I fail. But I had fate in my skills that I could do good and impress Captain Levi and his squad.
(So what did you think of the first chapter? Like I said I will try to see when I can post I will try to see if I can do it often like 1-2 times a week. I hope you will like this book but I think this book is off to a good start right?😅)
