บท 23: Chapter 23: 'How do you know?'
Mr.Deshmukh entered the venue as the people from Government came out to welcome him.
"It's an honour that you are here. Mr.Deshmukh, it's really an honour...Please welcome.", One of the officers spoke.
" This project is also something for the government. I'm glad to help you guys.", He spoke as they walked him inside.
Inside.
"It's an honour to welcome Mr.Deshmukh onto the stage.", The host spoke.
"Wow he's really here...", One of the people from crowd spoke as they saw Deshmukh walked inside as he entered the stage.
"It's really worth that I came flying here from abroad yesterday...all I hope is I could shake hands with him once.", One of the designer spoke.
"Yeah...I wish the same too.", Another one replied.
Aditi knows how talented this man is and how busy this man is...He is not that free to come and evaluate designs for free. Aditi who was in deep thought suddenly widened her eyes after few minutes a smile appeared on her lips.
She pulled her phone out and started to type...
Another side.
Anan who just arrived at the venue slowly entered the restaurant in front and started to look into his lappy which telecasted the live of the venue.
Suddenly vibration phone disturbed his observation as he stared at the message which he just received.
[ Mrs: 'Why is your Teacher here?'
His lips widened as he started to type...
Mr: 'How do you know?'
Mrs: 'Saw the picture of him and you in the study room in the house another day.'
Mr.: 'Not bad...He's here because the design you made is too tricky and it's hard to evaluate by any other person.'
Aditi's eyes widened.
Mrs: 'Anan, Thank you and...I have a surprise for you.'
Anan smiled...
Mr: 'Then I'll wait for my gift.' ]
"The designs will be displayed now.", The host spoke.
"The X Company's Quotation...."
"The Y Company's Quotation..."
"The Z Company's Quotation..."
"The Solo Company's Quotation....is 4.5% and it is the most reasonable quotation for now."[The competitor of EPIC]
"And the final The EPIC Company's Quotation... is *Silence*", The host stopped explaining as he checked the numbers again.
Preetha smiled slyly as she looked at Aditi who is listening to the host.
'This will be your last day where you can enter a place like this...Aditi, you are dead.' Preetha thought.
"...*Cough* Sorry for the silence a moment ago...the Percentage of Epic is 4%...The most suitable one...Congrats Epic round one win goes to you.", The host spoke.
The crowd was in shock...EPIC is a known company where it never decreased its price...it always failed in the first round but had an upper hand in the last round...now that it occupied the first round made the crowd awestruck.
"Now that they won round one...don't you think they will be having the upper hand in next round too...", One of the businessmen spoke.
"I'm not sure Solo also made it to the last round... maybe if it wins the last round don't you think EPIC will become a laughing stock.", Another Businessman spoke.
Jai who heard this turned and saw Aditi who was staring at the host without any expression.
"Don't worry...the fact that their Percentage is 4.5 is Manager's plan...there will be more fun in the next round...just enjoy.", Sandy spoke.
"...", He awkwardly smiled and turned his direction to the host.
"Now let's go into next round and see the designs of the two companies...Mr. Deshmukh the designs are presented on your desk...The people in the hall can see them through the big screen.", the Host spoke as the staff brought the two designs in front of Deshmukh.
The people in the crowd went silent after seeing both designs.
"Wahh...the structure...the model...wahh...they are simply perfect.", One of the designers spoke.
"Indeed...but the EPIC always created such beautiful models but SOLO designed a solid design too...I'm really looking forward to Dr.Deshmukh opinion." Another one spoke.
Deshmukh who was evaluating the designs with other experts raised his eyes in excitement.
Preetha who was too confident till now felt like she fell down from the sky...
'They are not the same.', This sentence blocked her mind.
Aditi who was silent till now turned her head and smiled mockingly at Preetha.
'No this can't happen.' Preetha was on verge of a breakdown.
A call brought chills down her spine. She wiped her sweat as she answered her call.
"How the hell did this happened? Did you fool me? If something goes wrong...Your life will be the worst nightmare you will ever experience...", The person spoke as he hung the call and walked into the venue as nothing happen.
"Mr.Solo the design of your company is too good.", One of the people from the crowd walked towards and praised him.
" Thank you.", He changed his expression into a smile.
'Yes...let's not worry...Even though it's not that same design it has gone through evaluation of experts from my company...I will secure the deal...' He comforted himself.
"Yes...The design is indeed flawless.", The other one spoke.
Aditi calmly stood from her place and walked towards Mr.Vikram.
"Mr.Vikram... Can you believe that your design is not fabricated or stolen right ?", She spoke as she maintained her smile.
"Yes...but that design...", He was also an expert himself. He could see there is something wrong with the design that was submitted by SOLO.
"Did you design it?", Ram who was silent for a while spoke.
"Yup.", Aditi smiled and admitted.
Ram nodded and said nothing.
"The design has Flaws ?", Vikram spoke after a minute.
"Yes...Then please enjoy the show.", Aditi spoke as she walked back to her seat.
"Then Dr. Deshmukh and other respected evaluators can you give your final decisions...", The host enquired.
The faces of evaluators who returned from the discussion hall were shown. Their faces were filled with anger and disappointment. The crowd wondered what made them like that.
"Mr. Host we want the designer of both teams on the stage.", one of the evaluators spoke.
Both designers from EPIC and SOLO walked towards the stage.
"Make sure you do your job.", Solo reminded the designer.
"I'll take care of it Sir.", He entered the stage with confidence.
Meanwhile.
"Boss... do you want me to order?", Rishi spoke.
"No we will head home after she returns...ask aunty to prepare a candlelight dinner at home.", he spoke. He was really curious and couldn't wait for her surprise.
"Yes Boss.", Rishi walked out to make preparations.
