บท 17: *STORY UPDATE NOTICE*
Hey everyone!
First of all, I want to reassure you that this is NOT an abandoning the story notice.
I am NOT abandoning this story and I simply wanted to tell you what's going on with it and why I haven't updated since March (I can't believe it's already been 5 months omg).
Right now, I've decided to write most, if not all, of the story first in my private docs and then update regularly all the platforms this fic is on, simply because the part of the story I'm in now is the most crucial, complicated, and important part.
I don't want to do what I've been doing until now (write one chapter, post one chapter kind of deal), because if I mess something up I'm going to have to update it everywhere, every time it happens, and I believe neither I nor any of you want that.
Soo I'm afraid you are going to have to be a bit more patient as I continue to write this story (I know waiting sucks, believe me, but inspiration unfortunately doesn't come in a day).
I've obviously written some chapters already, but I'm in a continuous loop of writing, reading, revising, re-reading the whole fic to see if I've forgotten something, writing, thinking, revising, and reading the Silmarillion in a snail's pace to see if I can use any details from it in my fic.
So yeah. It's a lot.
I kinda want this story to be as perfect as it can be seeing as it's one of my first fics and the most succesful one (not that I've published that many fics, but still), so this is the path I've decided to follow.
Sorry if this disappoints anyone (I know I am), but there's no way I'd be able to keep up with regular updates if I decided to instantly post what I have written out.
I'll delete this chapter and update the fic when I finally have everything I need prepared, but until then I ask some patience of you all.
