บท 35: Little Foodie

Su Xiaonai picked up a stalk of daisy crown and pointed at its roots.

"Look at its core. If it's white, it means that it's been out here for too long. Then it's not fresh."

Su Mubai nodded in understanding. Su Xiaonai picked a few good cabbages and put them in her shopping cart before going to pay the bill.

In the parking lot, Su Mubai considerately opened the trunk for Su Xiaonai to put the bag in the trunk.

Then, the two of them got into the car. Su Xiaonai started the car and drove home.

When they got home,only the old lady was left in the living room. Su Mubei hadn't come out of his bedroom yet. Su Xiaonai placed the vegetables in the sink and Su Mubai walked in, wanting to help.

Su Xiaonai suggested in a gentle tone.

"Mubai, go chat with the old lady."

After Su Mubai received her order, she nodded and dutifully walked to the old lady and started chatting with her.
