บท 60: Chapter 60

Shortly after, the Eternal Gale sailed into the waters of the Sabaody Archipelago.

As the fleet entered the Sabaody Archipelago, the crew members of the affiliated pirate group couldn't help but sigh at the incredible and breathtaking scene surrounding them.

"It's so beautiful~"

"Hey, look! Those floating bubbles are actually emerging from the ground!"

In contrast, the crew of the Eternal Gale remained much calmer.

While they acknowledged the strange and stunning environment, they silently appreciated it without saying much.

On the other hand, Carnes showed absolutely no interest in the surrounding landscape.

Having visited this island numerous times in the past, he still vaguely remembered some of the regional layouts.

The Sabaody Archipelago was, in reality, a vast mangrove forest in the middle of the ocean, consisting of 79 separate trees known as Yarukiman Mangrove.

These were the largest mangroves in the world, extending from the ocean floor to the surface. Each tree served as an island where people lived.

Around Carnes' ship, one could spot trees numbered 21, 23, 27, 78, and 73.

Though decades had passed since his last voyage, Carnes was familiar with this island and its various regions.

The seventy-nine trees were divided into several different areas, each corresponding to a specific number range.

Areas 1 to 29 housed the human auction houses, Shakky's Rip-off Bar, and illegal areas filled with pirates and criminals.

Tree towns numbered 30 to 39 held Sabaody Park, an amusement park with bubble-based attractions.

Areas 40 to 49 were designated as tourist areas, filled with shops and souvenir stands.

The region spanning 50 to 59 was the shipping area, mainly occupied by shipyards and coating craftsmen.

This was a crucial place to visit for anyone seeking to enter the New World.

The route ahead was blocked by the Red Line.

To proceed, one had to dive 10,000 meters under the sea and pass through a small hole beneath the Red Line. Coating the ship was essential for this endeavor.

Finding a coating craftsman with exceptional expertise was crucial.

If the ship's coating was damaged at a depth of 10,000 meters on the seabed, the entire vessel would be wrecked.

Areas 60 to 69 were designated for the Marines and housed the government entrances and exits.

Finally, tree towns numbered 70 to 79 primarily served as resting places, including hotel streets and the like.

Carnes looked up into the depths of the island, and a figure involuntarily appeared in his mind.

"The coating craftsman... How many years has it been? I wonder if he is here now."

He muttered absentmindedly.

Soon, Carnes snapped back to reality and gave instructions to the crew behind him.

"Find a place to dock the ship and prepare to disembark."

"Understood!" Some crew members immediately descended to make the necessary arrangements.

In a large tree town not far from the Eternal Gale, a sizable group of over fifty people was marching through the streets.

Wherever they went, pedestrians around them hurriedly made way.

Leading this group of fifty was a woman of striking beauty, elegant demeanor, and a graceful figure.

She was Albedo, the newest crew member recruited by Carnes, known as the pure white demon.

Adorned in a white dress, her beautiful face wore only a faint smile, exuding an aura akin to that of a goddess, commanding admiration from all who saw her.

Contrasting her dress, her waist-length black hair shimmered with luster.

A pair of black angel wings could be seen adorning her waist.

She wore silk gloves on her slender hands and held a peculiar weapon resembling a short staff.

Several inches from the staff's front end, a black orb floated effortlessly in the air without any visible support.

"She's so beautiful..." The onlookers on the street couldn't help but stop in their tracks, their eyes fixated on Albedo as she walked through the middle of the street.

"Who... Who is she? An angel?"

"I... I've never seen such a beautiful person."

"So beautiful..."

"So incredibly beautiful..."

Heartfelt compliments reverberated from both sides of the street.

Even the women themselves couldn't help but be entranced by Albedo's captivating presence amidst the endless praises.

However, Albedo herself felt no joy.

On the contrary, she found the surrounding crowd's clamor bothersome, rather their talks made her extremely furious and angry.

Ignoring their adulations, she remained focused on meeting the captain, her top priority.

Having no time to deal with these noisy monkeys, Albedo continued her journey through the town.

To her surprise, many people followed her group, eager to steal more glimpses of this enchanting woman.

Meanwhile, in an unnoticed dark alley, a group of five individuals watched Albedo and her entourage depart, dumbfounded by what they had witnessed.

"That woman is truly stunning!"

"Is she an angel?"

"An angel? That's an apt description. She would fetch a fortune, wouldn't she?"

"Absolutely! Celestial Dragons are always looking for such beauties. Angels are worth more than mermaids!"

"Hehe, I'd be reluctant to sell her to the Celestial Dragons."

"Come on, even angels hold more value than mere money."

"That woman has a considerable number of subordinates. We can't handle them with just the few of us. Let's go! Report this news to the boss."

"Let's go and show them who truly owns this place!"

"How dare they strut past us so arrogantly? If we don't capture her, we can't call ourselves kidnappers!"

With their conversation concluded, the fiery group member turned and left the alley.

On the other side...

In Area 21 of the island...

Carnes' Eternal Gale gradually docked beside the tree island.

Bonney and the other affiliated pirate groups also docked their ships not far from the Eternal Gale.

Before disembarking, Carnes and the others noticed a large group of people approaching them from a distance.

"What's happening? It looks like those people are heading toward us!" a crew member furrowed their brow, expressing their confusion.

In the next moment, Power briskly moved to the side of the boat, turning her head to the crew member who spoke with an excited expression.

"Oooooooo!"

With a wave of Power's hand, dark red blood gushed out from her wrist, condensing into a bloody hammer in her palm.
