บท 22: You Are Ungrateful

Rosalina didn't say anything more afterward, while Selena sneered and rolled her pretty eyes.

"So, Ms. Yoona, this is Mr. Park Seo Joon, the male lead role. He is a well-known, famous actor who has a lot of scenes to act with you, so you both need to get along and work together for the sake of the production company and your audience." Director Mun Hee introduced the male actor to Rosalina who bowed slightly, but the male actor stretched his hand to shake her instead, which she took as they shook hands together.

"Working with a lovely lady like you is gratifying. Now I understand why you were dubbed the Asian goddess in California. Do not be surprised to hear this from me. I've checked into your bios and must say I'm impressed with your career record as a Korean lady who started her modeling career in the USA. And your promotion with Gu Best made a big shot as their new ambassador for the year, lol. it's nice to meet you anyway, Ms. Rosalina. Seo Joon said sweetly and smiled, looking handsome with his hairstyle that seemed to be perfect.

"Thanks, Mr. Seo Joon, it's been a pleasure, and of course, I've seen you in a lot of Kdrama which I almost fell for you, I'm proud of all your work. It's great to see you, too." Rosalina said softly causing Park Seo Joon to blush and laugh it off, leaving everyone else laughing, except Selena, who was so enraged and hated Rosalina.

"I can't believe she's flirting with actor Park Seo Joon right now," Selena muttered to herself as though no one noticed her.

"We will start shooting tomorrow since we were delayed earlier due to an incomplete crew, but now that everyone is here, we can begin. Arriving early on set will help you prepare for tomorrow's script. The production manager will send the details and location address for tomorrow's shoot tonight," Director Mun Hee said as they discussed plans for the next day and enjoyed some drinks.

As they chatted and laughed, Rosalina stood up to say goodbye and left with her assistant.

"Take the route to your house, I will drop you off on my way back home. I have to pack and move to a new place," Rosalina told her assistant.

"Okay," the assistant replied, driving towards her house.

"I'll send you my new address so you can pick me up early for tomorrow's shoot," Rosalina said as they reached the assistant's address.

They stopped the car, and the assistant got out along with Rosalina.

"Drive carefully, or I can help you with your stuff and come back once you're settled," the assistant offered.

"It's okay, I've hired people to help me pack. I just need to be there to oversee everything," Rosalina replied, taking the keys and getting into the car.

"Don't worry, I can handle it. Get some rest for tomorrow's busy day on set," Rosalina said softly, smiling at the assistant.

"Thank you, Ms. Rosalina. I'm grateful to have you as my boss," the assistant said shyly.

Rosalina chuckled and bid her goodbye before driving off.

Late at night, Rosalina's car and the hired truck arrived at Gu Won's villa after facing some challenges with the estate's security. Thankfully, Rosalina had Gu Won's number to help navigate the issues with the guards before finally reaching the villa.

Rosalina drove her car into the compound as the security opened the gate automatically. The truck followed closely behind and entered as well.

Stepping out of the car, Rosalina waited for the truck to stop so that the men could help her unpack.

Once they finished unpacking, the two men got into the truck and drove away.

Min Ho's servants assisted Rosalina in packing her belongings and placing them in the house, making sure everything was in its proper place in Rosalina's room and the kids' rooms.

After entering the house, Rosalina found her kids in the living room with their father, Gu Won.

"Mommy!" Joon Ah exclaimed, running to hug her.

"Hey baby, how are you?" Rosalina asked softly, hugging her daughter.

"I'm okay mommy, we're having fun with Daddy. Come join us," the little girl said, pulling Rosalina's hand to the living room.

The kids had a plan and led their mommy to sit next to their daddy.

Rosalina was surprised and gave a cute frown to the little girl, who giggled innocently.

"Mommy, we were talking about Daddy planning a big party for our upcoming birthday. He wants to introduce us to everyone and show that he's proud to be our father," Joon Woo said, making Rosalina widen her eyes in shock.

Looking at Lee Gu Won, who was grinning, he nodded in agreement, "Yes, I want everyone to meet my future heir and heiress. I want to show off my kids and let everyone know how blessed I am to be their father," Lee Gu Won said happily, causing Rosalina to lose herself in staring at him.

She felt touched and wanted to hug him to show her gratitude for being kind to the children, even though he had only recently discovered they were his kids.

"I need to stop these silly thoughts," she scolded herself. "He's only being nice to his children, nothing more." Pushing the idea aside, she regained her composure.

Gu Won grinned and teased, "You're still here?"

Rosalina rolled her eyes at his sarcastic tone.

"It's heartwarming to hear that. Since your father is willing to do so much for your kids, then, mommy has no problem with that. Have you you eaten?" Rosalina said warmly to her children.

Joon Ah pouted, "We don't want to eat the maids' food today. We want yours, Mommy."

Rosalina chuckled, "Alright, I'll cook for you all."

Joon Ah then asked if she could cook for their dad as well, to which Rosalina declined, saying he had a good cook to take care of him.

"Dad is hungry too, can you make something for him as well?" Joon Ah asked with a cute smile.

Rosalina didn't agree; "No, he has a good cook who can make him tasty food," she said, rolling her eyes.

Gu Won interjected, "I think your cooking is better."

Without responding, Rosalina gave him a pointed look and went upstairs to change before heading to the kitchen.

When she arrived, she found the maids already there. After inquiring about the food, she reassured them that she could manage on her own.

Initially, the maids hesitated to let her cook alone, but they relented when Gu Won entered the kitchen.

Surprised by their sudden change of heart, Rosalina turned around and accidentally bumped into Gu Won. He caught her by the waist, preventing her from falling, and they found themselves locked in a gaze for what felt like an eternity.

The kids watched them and giggled, giving each other high fives.

Rosalina came to her senses and moved away from his grasp.

"Are you okay?" Gu Won asked softly.

"What are you doing here?" Rosalina replied with a frown, questioning him.

"I came to see if you need anything," Gu Won said, chuckling.

"I've asked the maids to let me use the kitchen, so you can go now," Rosalina said, putting on an apron and starting to gather what she needed for cooking.

Gu Won chuckled, "You're ungrateful. The maids were hesitant to leave until they saw me. How could you say I can leave now?"

Rosalina looked at him and twitched her mouth cutely, even though she wasn't intentionally trying to be cute around him. She always appears cute no matter what she says or does, which people always find adorable.

Rosalina turned to him, twitching her mouth cutely, "You're not needed. Mr. Gu should leave so I can cook comfortably."

"You don't need to be here. Please leave so I can cook comfortably," she said again, her mouth twitching cutely. This made Gu Won smile and chuckle at her adorable behavior.

"What?" She frowned.

"You look cute," Gu Won said sincerely, causing her to blush lightly and look away.

"Are you blushing?" Gu Won asked sarcastically.

"No way. You're just too straightforward, and shameless to tell me that." Rosalina said, smiling but not looking at him.

"Shameless? That I said you look cute. That's not shameless but I'm being honest," Gu Won said, chuckling.

Rosalina smiled and frowned, trying not to be swayed by his sweet words.

Rosalina stopped talking and began cooking when the knife accidentally cut her finger, causing her to drop the knife and cry softly. Gu Won noticed and quickly approached her. Without hesitation, he put her cut finger in his mouth, surprising Rosalina. She gasped in shock at his unexpected action.

Ignoring her expression, Gu Won took her finger out of his mouth and blew on it. "Does it still hurt?" he asked softly. Rosalina nodded, still staring at him in disbelief.

"You should let the maid finish cooking," he suggested, trying to lead her away from the kitchen. But Rosalina insisted, "I promised the kids. I'm fine, it's just a small cut. I can keep going, thanks for your concern."
