บท 7: Lost Staring at Each Other’s Cute Faces

Later in the evening, Rosalina woke up and started cooking in the kitchen. She cooks for her kids when she's home, while she pays the nannies for their services for the day.

The two nannies always go to their homes in the evening after finishing their work, and they are paid daily for their services. Rosalina only allows them to stay in the guest room to look after her kids when she goes on a trip. However, since she is home now, she was going to pay them for the day and send them back to their homes.

"Thank you, ma'am," the two ladies said gratefully as they collected the cash in the envelope with a smile.

"You're welcome. I should thank you for looking after my kids," Rosalina said as she handed them their envelopes and paid them for the day's work.

The nanny ladies bowed before leaving for their homes. Rosalina walked to the kitchen, did some dishes, and set the table.

"Joon Ah, Joon Won," she called out to her two kids who were in the sitting room watching cartoons.

They stood and ran to meet their mom in the dining room when they heard her call their names.

She pulled them to sit and served them their food, saying, "Mommy made your favorite meals." She smiled as she also sat down to serve herself food, and they started eating quietly. After they finished dinner, Rosalina held their hands and took them to have a night shower before putting them to bed.

"Mommy, you forgot to tell me my favorite bedtime story," Joon Ah said to her mother.

"Oh, baby, okay, let me tell you one, and then you should sleep," Rosalina said, telling a short story about Cinderella and finishing with a smile.

"Thank you, mommy. You're so beautiful like Cinderella," Joon Ah said happily before closing her eyes to sleep.

Rosalina chuckled and turned to Joon Won's bed, who was also waiting for her to sing to him. "Nighttime lullaby?" Rosalina asked, knowing he was waiting for that before he could sleep.

The little boy nodded, and she sat on the edge of the bed, touching Joon Won's hair as she sang a beautiful bedtime song for him.

"Thank you, Mommy," Joon Won said, enjoying his mom's sweet voice as he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Rosalina smiled, kissed his forehead, switched off the light, and turned on the night lamp before leaving their room for her own. She took a quick shower and lay back to sleep.

The next day,

Rosalina woke up early to cook for her kids, while the two nannies also resumed work for the day. Rosalina didn't have much time to eat with her kids as she had woken up early to prepare for a meeting and make breakfast for them.

She checked her wristwatch and discovered it was 8:30 am. She rushed to her room, put on a body-hugging classic gown that reached her knee, applied very light makeup, grabbed her bag, put on her high heels, and walked out of her room.

"Take care of my kids while I'm away," she said to the two nannies.

"Okay, be assured, ma'am," one of the nannies replied.

She then turned to her kids and said softly, "Be good while mommy is away, okay?" Rosalina kissed their cheeks and left the house for the car park.

She turned to the new lady, Hana, who was her assistant now, hired from an online company, and gave her the car keys. "Can you drive?" she asked Hana, who confirmed she could.

They hopped into the white Benz car, and Hana drove to the given address sent by assistant Dae Hyun.

"Are you sure she's coming?" Lee Gu Won asked his assistant Dae Hyun as he checked the time and realized Rosalina hadn't arrived yet.

"She said she's going to come. I'm very sure she's on her way already," assistant Dae Hyun replied politely. Just then, a white Benz car was spotted.

"I think there's a car park. That must be her," Assistant Dae Hyun said, confident since they had rented the whole coffee shop for the meeting with Rosalina.

Listening to assistant Dae Hyun, Gu Won, who had been waiting, stood up and focused his eyes on the car to see the owner if was the person he was waiting for.

Though he didn't know why he was eager to see her, he couldn't wait to see her face again, the mother of his kids.

The time was already 9:40 am when they arrived at the coffee shop.

Roselina stepped out of her white Benz, and a man in a suit walked to her with a slight bow.

"Hello, Ms. Yoona, I'm assistant Dae Hyun. Please come, my boss has been waiting for you," the man said to Rosalina.

Rosalina smiled and followed him, with her PA trailing behind, as assistant Dae Hyun led her to the table where his boss was sitting.

Gu Won, who was standing, was stunned by the beautiful woman in front of him. He had never looked at any lady in that way before, but he was lost staring at this beautiful face with her great figure.

Her gown fitted her perfectly, showing her curves, and her hair was styled beautifully. Rosalina, in turn, was also lost staring at him.

Her heart skipped a beat, seeing such a handsome man. "Hello, CEO Gu," Rosalina managed to say, as she knew the name of the CEO of the company, which was popular for well-known brands.

"Oh no, what's going on with me? This is not the first time I've seen such a pretty face, why am I lost staring at her like this?" Gu Won thought and composed himself.

"Uh, hello, Ms. Kim Yoona. It's good to finally meet a beautiful woman like you in real life," he managed to say.

"Thank you, Mr. Gu. It's my pleasure to be invited by a big brand like Gu Best. I feel honored, though I'm still a new model and haven't gained much popularity," Rosalina said with a friendly smile.

"You may think you're new, but it seems like you were born for this profession because you have everything companies would want in a collaborator. After checking your work and collaborations in California, I must say you're a professional and a natural. Collaborating with you will be successful for our brands and you," CEO Lee Gu Won said, portraying the image of a perfect businessman when talking to clients.

Rosalina smiled. "Thank you, Mr. Gu. It's an honor to work with your company, and I'm pleased to hear how impressed you are with me."

"So, Ms. Yoona, would you like to promote some of our brands? We have called you for this and would like to start working with you as soon as possible. Rest assured, there's plenty of profit and other benefits for us and for you, if you collaborate with us," CEO Lee Gu Won asked, gazing at her throughout the conversation, though Rosalina avoided looking at him to prevent embarrassing herself.

"Of course, I believe Gu Best is the best to work with, so why not," Rosalina replied with a friendly smile.

"Okay, then we can proceed to sign the contract with us," Gu Won said and signaled his assistant to bring the papers.

Assistant Dae Hyun nodded and handed the papers to Gu Won, who then pushed them to Rosalina gently. "Please go through the papers and sign them as an agreement to work with us," he said.

Rosalina nodded, picked up the pen, and signed the contract after reviewing the terms and policies.

"Here," she pushed the paper back gently with a smile.

"Okay, good," Gu Won said, while assistant Dae Hyun put the papers back in his briefcase.

"As I mentioned earlier, after signing the contract, we would like to start working with you immediately. We can go to the company for other tasks and then start with a shoot for our new brand of sunglasses for promotion," CEO Gu Won said as he stood up. Rosalina also stood up and signaled her new assistant who started working with her.

"It's okay to take my boss's car while your assistant drives following our car," assistant Dae Hyun suggested, with Lee Gu Won already in the car with his help.

Rosalina nodded, turned to her PA, and instructed her to follow the car. She hopped into the car, sitting next to Gu Won in the back seat, while assistant Dae Hyun shut the car door, got into the driver's seat, and drove to the company.

In the car...

Gu Won would steal glances at Rosalina, and their eyes would meet at times, making Rosalina feel somewhat uneasy.

"I can't believe this is the mother of my kids. I need to remind her, right? No, not now... I have plans for that," he thought, while he turned to look at her, but she was looking the other way.
