บท 80: Chapter 80 – She’s My Wife

"Remember the offer you made me about a week ago?" Alex asked, not having the guts to say it directly due to his previous reaction, but Joanna was kind and mature.

She might get back at him in different ways but not in his most vulnerable moment.

She relaxed, having a clue about where the conversation was heading. "You want to place an order?" She asked directly. Alex was elated at how easily she made it for him.

"For breakfast tomorrow," he confirmed shamelessly, and a sigh of relief escaped Joanna.

This meant he didn't mean those words he said back then and was only trying to upset her to not cook for him again. So, since he was requesting it, it was all for the better.

"Does it mean you will be home tonight?" They never interacted much at home, but his presence was always missed.

 There was a way the domestic workers behaved whenever he was around that usually amused Joanna.
