บท 115: Like Wolves

It had been nearly a week since Nazmi and Samir completed the mating ritual and ceremony. Originally, Nazmi had assumed that the bond created after becoming mates was primarily cosmetic... but that was most certainly not the case. It had almost been like their minds and hearts were truly one, now tethered together by the red strings of fate.

The nymph's stomach would tighten with irritation whenever Samir got frustrated with his work and, likewise, whenever Nazmi mourned her father, the Prince experienced a hollow ache in his chest alongside her.

Of course, feelings such as excitement, joy, and even sexual desire, were also shared between the pair – which was both good and bad. They found it incredibly difficult to resist one another due to the mated bond, and some of their days were spent shirking responsibility, tumbling in the sheets relentlessly from sunset to sunrise.
