I should have been clearer about where I wanted to live. I should have picked the location instead of letting them do so. Maybe I shouldn't have gotten into an argument with Fury when he tried to keep me on base. Maybe I should have tried to bring it up later instead of threatening to leave Earth for good. Then maybe I wouldn't have ended up in Gotham of all places.
That is right you didn't misread that I am in Gotham the city with the highest crime rate in the US. Where the most paranoid vigilante lived with a no-killing policy but wasn't afraid to break every bone in your body for justice. Definitely not because of his repressed anger issues and clear psychological trauma.
I just have to keep telling myself that this is only temporary. I should have known better when Fury gave me an empty mansion. The place was dilapidated and seemed like it was abandoned years ago. When I get some money saved I'm moving out of here or at least setting up better security for myself. For now, I decided to check in with my system and see if there were any solutions there that could solve my problems.
'System how many tickets do I have?'

I immediately feel knowledge flowing into me as if I had always known how to do these things but this time I didn't black out. This probably had to do with the fact that I was a psychic now and could handle the flow of information better. Walking over to the mansion and pretended I was in deep prayer using my psionic power to scan the entire area destroying all the bugs that shield and others placed here. Then for a final touch, I activated my home upgrade, and instantly the entire place began to change becoming more high-tech and fancy. I walked up to the door and registered myself as the owner then the door automatically opened. The inside was far more spectacular than the outside which was already impressive everything was new yet classy.
My home went from being the eyesore in Gotham's wealthy neighborhood to becoming the most advanced. I sat down and waited for what I knew was going to happen. Not even ten minutes later my home notified me that someone was at the gate. The cameras showed that they were Shield agents more specifically Natasha and Phil. I told my home to let them through as it was a VI and not an AI it needed verbal confirmation all the time. As they approached the door slid open.
"Natasha, Phil good to see you. I would say that you are here for a house warming but I don't see any gifts"
Phil: How did you do this?
"I thought that you were watching so you should know"
Natasha: You know what he is talking about Julian don't be an ass if you could do something like this all along why didn't you when you were at your place prior
"Because that wasn't my place it belongs to Shield this place is mine I earned it"
Phil: This isn't what we agreed to Julian!
"Yes, it is Phil Coulson Shield Would provide me a place to call home in exchange for my assistance so far and three years of tax exemption. When I signed the contract this was the place provided by Shield there was no mention that I as the homeowner couldn't make changes to the property"
