In a vibrant green forest a strong wind blew swaying the trees and plucking their green leaves, the leaves swept by the wind, were carried over the village wall, flying above the bustling streets and buildings full of both ninjas wearing metal headbands and civilians.
A lone leaf separated from the rest by stray current of wind flew slowly towards a large building near the village center, floating through the window it gracefully landed on the nose of a black haired young boy.
Blowing it away he continued feigning attention at the teachers words. His eyes fixed on his face as he followed him as he walked around the podium.
5 years had passed since Shitsuya Uchiha was inexplicably reborn into this world, and unlike most characters in those fan made books he was not particularly happy about it.
Most of those guys were losers with no life before reincarnating or were to ensnared by the prospect of adventure or harems to care.
Before he was called Shitsuya he was a married man in his fourties with a two year young daughter.
It had been five years since then, the thought of how his wife had to be widowed and how his daughter most likely already forgot about him agitated his only recently stabilised mental state and as he felt the familiar heat rushing into his eyes he had to quickly cover them up with his hand before anyone noticed.
Considering his mental anguish in the last few years it was no surprise that at the young age of five he already possessed the coveted Sharingan.
And a two tomoe one at that. Though in his opinion the signature of the Uchiha clan was more trouble than it was worth.
Sure they could allow a person to cast powerful genjutsu and copy almost any ninjutsu and taijutsu.
But the cost was draining his chakra reserves at such a fast rate using it could put him flat on his back in only a minute at most and that was after "training" to increase his tolerance.
Feeling the burning chakra slowly drain and receed back from his eyes Shitsuya removed the hand that covered his eyes before looking around to see if anyone had noticed.
It would be a disaster if news of him having awakened the Sharingan at the age of five were to come out.
Due to the Uchiha clan's shoddy understanding of their own Kekkei genkai they would quickly deem him as a genius.
What would follow would be at best more attention from the clan and village and at worse being thrown onto the ongoing meat grinder known as the second ninja war.
Seeing that nobody seemed to have noticed he quickly continued pretending to pay attention to his new teacher.
Today was his first day in the academy so the teacher got busy today with drilling in them all sorts of stuff like no misbehaving in class, no fighting, using only wooden kunai and shuriken.
This was all after the boring morning propaganda by the Third Hokage.
But exhausting as it was he didn't look down on such behaviour, when raising killing machines you have to make sure they don't turn on you by brainwashing them as much as possible while their brains were still young and receptive.
After the teach was done with his routine they were dismissed early today and were allowed to go home.
Leaving the school he avoided the other children running towards their parents and walked to his mother who had come to pick him up.
His father was busy going on missions in the war so his mother had come by her own.
His mother was the cliché looking Uchiha woman template. Ordinary face, black eyes, thick black hair and a cold demeanor.
Grabbing the hand extended to him by his mother they walked back home in silence.
Arriving back at home he went back to his room as usual and lay down. He wasn't going to take a nap not was this part of some training routine.
He simply liked laying motionless on the hard wood floor.
His room didn't have any furniture beyond classic Japanese futon beds.
He had no toys nor any books children would have. Not because his parents didn't buy him such things but simply because he had no interest in them.
His parents bought him a lot of toys in fact as they were under the wrong impression due to his past behaviour.
To kindly describe his behaviour as an infant and toddler he was hyper active.
To describe his behaviour realistically, he was manic. Crying and screaming at all hours of day and night.
Acting violently towards his parents and other children the few times they arranged play dates for him. He used his toys as weapons to throw at others.
It had gotten so bad to the point that his father, sleep deprived and tired of his misbehaving wanted to punish the still fragile bodied him physically before being stopped by his mother.
Shitsuya wanting to go asleep but not feeling tired fell back on his usual method of activating his Sharingan until he passed out from exhaustion.
This had the small side effect of damaging his internal chakra network which at his young age could cripple him.
But at least it grew his chakra reserves which was apparently a good thing not that he really cared.
Shitsuya was awoken from his sticky blackout by his mother.
Dazzily staring up at her she smiled and said "Come eat some dinner, you shouldn't sleep on an empty stomach."
Carrying him like a princess, Shitsuya particularly did not enjoy the sensation of someone touching his body which was now soaked in sweat.
Noticing his drenched body he was promptly taken to the bathroom where his mother bathed him while he stood motionless like a doll.
New story so any criticism is welcome.
