Chapter 28 – Talking it out ... or not
"Fight me!"
In front of Naruto stood Rock Lee.
"Hello, Lee where is the rest of your team?" Naruto asks.
"Will you accept my request for a spar?" Lee asks ignoring the comment.
"No Lee, I'm going to my hotel room and relax before my next mission" Naruto answers.
"What's the matter dobe scared" Sasuke calls out.
Naruto now noticed most of the male rookie genin were suddenly there.
"How could I be scared when even Lee knows he won't win. What's the point in sparing if I know the end result?" Naruto replies.
"You could spar and help Lee improve himself so that one day he might reach your level" Says Neji.
"I have no interest in helping a devoted Konoha ninja improve himself" Naruto replies.
"Then how about you fight to prove your as strong as you say you are" Kiba says.
"Why are you even here Inuzuka?" Naruto asks.
"To kick your ass and show you that your that same little punk ass kid that you were back in the academy!" Kiba responds.
"You know Uchiha, you look to call someone a dobe but your mocking the wrong person. Hey dobe, I was in the academy for all totaled about a month. I had clones that were purposefully trying to fail so I could get the fuck out of this village and be done with idiots like you" Naruto mocks.
"Why you ..." Kiba growls.
He tries to make a move to attack Naruto, but Shino stands in his way.
"Calm down Kiba, he's just trying to get you to make a mistake that will cost you and your family more injury" Shino says talking him down.
"That's nice teamwork, now if you will excuse me ..." Naruto says trying continue on his way.
"Hold it Uzumaki, I too would like the chance to fight you" Shino says facing him.
"As would I"
"So would I"
"Me too"
"Fight me!"
"No fight me!"
"Wait when did you show up?" Naruto question.
"Haha, my disguise tricked you!" Konohamaru boasts.
Everyone just stared at the kid.
"Stay out of grown folks business kid" Kiba says.
"Hey your only 3 years older than me!" Konohamaru shouts back at him.
"Yeah, but I'm a ninja and once I got my license I became an adult. So just stand back and what the adults handle business" Kiba boasts proudly.
"You should step back honorable grandson, you'll just get hurt kid" Shikamaru tells him.
Konohamru steamed in frustration at both being treated like a kid and hearing those words he hated so much, but didn't press his luck and stepped back.
"Wait, you too ?" Naruto asks looking at the usually lazy ninja.
"Our fight in the exams got me interested and before you think it would just end the same way I've been training every day since then with my father and other members of my clan" Shikamaru responds.
"I've been training with my clan too, day and night to show this loser what he really is and that picking a fight with the Inuzuka isn't something a loser like him can win" Kiba says proudly.
"Only I have won kibbles. You and your mangy clan of misfits lost and I won and you challenging me to a fight your mother the Head of your misfit clan couldn't win is just plain stupid" Naruto remarks.
Kiba growls as he continues trying to get past Shino so he can stomp the smug bastard.
"I'm guessing you have also been training since the Exams and think you can beat me?" Naruto asks Neji.
"No, I too like Lee want to challenge myself and improve my ability" Neji says.
"Why are you cowering to this loser saying you can't beat him. He's just been lucky!" Kiba shouts at the duo of Team Gai.
"Because you didn't see what he was truly capable of. We were on a mission with and him and he fought the Leader of the Village beating him even when he used a power Lady Tsunade says even the other Kage's are weary of" Neji tells them.
"That's cute that you think that was the extent of my abilities" Naruto says with a grin.
"Then how close was it?" Lee asks wanting a gauge.
"Look I have no interest in fighting any of you. I just finished a long mission, if you want to fight so bad fight each other. That way some of you can actually win" Naruto mocks.
"No you will fight me!" Lee yells and charges.
Seeing this wasn't going to end Naruto used a quick shunshin to leave the area and as he thought none of the genin could do the technique, not that that meant he thought they would leave him alone.
2 Days Later
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
"Ughhh" "Yes, Grab my hair!" "Just like that, fuck me!"
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
*Thwack* "Yeah, slap my ass!" *Thwack* "Slap it again!" *Thwack, Thwack, Thwack*
"Yes, Yes, YESSSS!"
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
"Damn it, who is it!" Naruto yells.
However no answer came, just more knocking.
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
"Damn, man can't enjoy a day off without someone interrupting it" Naruto grumbles.
"Just answer it Naruto-kun and get rid of them. I still need more"
Naruto just grinned and slapped her ass, "Mmm". After retrieving some pants Naruto opens the door to find Find Gai and Kakashi standing at his door.
"Am I being called for a mission?" Naruto asks.
"No, we heard about the genin challenging you to a spar and we are here to request that you accept the fight" Gai answers.
"I have no interest in fighting your gennin" Naruto responds.
"But Lee wants to test himself by fighting someone his age that is as strong as you are. I've never seen him so fired up before. It would be a glorious representation of youth!" Gai says.
"That's nice that he's feeling so ... youthful, but like I told them. They should all go fight each other, they don't need to spar with me to have a good fight and improve their abilities" Naruto responds.
"I told you he would respond this way Gai. He did run away from a couple of gennin and an academy student, it's clear he's afraid and doesn't feel up to the challenge" Kakashi taunts.
"No, no, no ... that couldn't be true. Naruto-kun wouldn't be so unyouthful!" Gai exclaims.
"Your attempts at manipulating me won't work. I have nothing to prove to you our your gennin. My mission record speaks for itself. At this point I'm stronger than Tsunade, neither you or you gennin can beat me. I thought we already proved as much back in Wave" Naruto states confidently.
Naruto could feel the hatred radiating from the silver haired man at this point. However, before things could go further Gai steps in.
"Then how about a friendly wager" Gai proposes.
"What kind of wager?" Naruto asks.
"You spar with Kakashi and if you lose you have to spar with our teams and the other gennin when ever they want as long as it doesn't conflict with a mission" Gai wagers.
"And if I win?" Naruto asks.
"I'll give you ... this!" Gai proclaims proudly.
What Gai produced was a bottle of a strangely colored liquid.
"What's that?" Naruto questions.
"This my youthful friend is medicine that can cure all ailments. Just drink a bottle every day and you'll feel good as new within moments!" Gai proclaims cheerfully.
"I'll pass" Naruto states.
"Then how about this!" Gai states loudly.
Now in his hand was a takeout box.
"This delicious, aromatic, flavorful, rich, amazing delicacy can only be found in one place in this world and it's all yours for one spar!" Gai entices.
"No thanks, it's not ramen" Naruto says declining the offer.
"Then how about this, and this, and this, and this!" Gai states littering the hallway with an amalgam of items.
Among the towering pile of junk were nunchaku, addition spandex suits, weights of varying types and weights, head bands, pill boxes, exercise manuals and magazines, hair gel, more weights, exercise equipment, food products, and ... an Icha Icha that was quickly hidden when Gai noticed Naruto staring at it. Hey it made since he would have at least one if he calls himself Kakashi's rival.
"I'm so proud of you" Kakashi says with a tear in his lone visible eye.
"That wasn't what it looked like" Gai says quickly.
Before this could get any further Naruto cut in.
"As cute as this emotional little scene is. I once again pass, I don't want any of this" Naruto says.
"Then what do you want?" Kakashi asks.
"I never said I wouldn't spar with you. However, I want certain restrictions and penalties involved" Naruto answers.
"I'm listening" Kakashi responds.
"First, it's a timed spar. I don't want to spend all day on this" Naruto starts.
"Agreed"
"Second, neither of us will use our dōjutsu. This is a spar, I wouldn't want it to get out of hand" Naruto adds.
"Fine"
"Then it's a 30 minute spar, neither of us will use jutsu above B-rank or any assassination moves, no dōjutsu, no outside interference, and movement will be limited to the chosen training ground" Naruto finishes.
"That's acceptable, but how will a winner be chosen?" Kakashi questions.
"..."
"Yosh, I'll be the ref" Gai says.
"No, you can be 'a' ref" Naruto says.
"Huh?" Gai asks confused.
"Kakashi gets to chose one judge to represent him, while I also get one, and there will be a third impartial judge to oversee the whole thing" Naruto answers.
"Fine, Gai is acceptable to me but who will be your judge?" Kakashi asks nonchalantly.
"My mother" Naruto answers.
Kakashi nodded as it was the obvious choice. However, there was no the problem of finding a neutral observer. Kakashi couldn't think of someone he could reasonably pass off as neutral while getting them to side with him. Choosing Gai kind of screwed him. Gai wasn't likely to take his side if he lost, not that he was going to lose to some brat that's been in the service for a few months.
"Alright, but who do we know that can be impartial?" Kakashi ponders aloud.
"I know just the person" Naruto states with a grin.
"As long as it's not your former teammates or girlfriends, I see no problem with it" Kakashi agrees.
"Actually who I was thinking of doesn't even really like me, but I think they can be impartial" Naruto tells them.
Kakashi liked the sounds of that, not that he trusted the little demon. Still, if it wasn't his girlfriends or former teammates or turn coat villagers Kakashi couldn't think of someone that was unbiased one way of the other. So he'll go along to get what he wants.
Kakashi nodded in acceptance and Gai gave a big thumbs up trusting in Naruto.
"Then if you will excuse me, I was in the middle of something when you interrupted me" Naruto says closing the door on them.
If Kakashi actually cared for him he'd be so proud.
"Yosh, he is very dedicated to training to even work out on his off day in his room. Yosh, I must work even harder to surpass his youthful display. Come Kakashi let's train together!" Gai shouts only to find himself alone.
"No matter I will find Lee and we will both express the beautiful 'Spring Time of Youth together!'" Gai shouts leaving the building.
2 Days Later
Kakashi and Gai stood in Training Ground 3. They both received messages for them to be there by noon or in Kakashi's case 9:00 a.m.. Also with Gai and Kakashi were their teams except for Anko and Ami, Team 8&10 along with their sensei's were also there. They didn't have to wait long, because a few minutes after noon Naruto appeared as did Kushina, Shizuka, Akari, Miyuki, and Karin. There was also there was a surprise that shunshined with them.
"Hokage-sama!" Gai exclaims.
"Gai" Tsunade greets casually.
"Lady Tsunade!" Sakura, Tenten, and Ino shouted in surprise.
"Hokage-sama, what are you doing here?" Gai asks.
"She's the third judge I was talking about" Naruto answers for her.
"Lady Tsunade thank you for taking time out of your busy day to do this" Kakashi greets.
"Yeah, yeah let's get on with it. The only reason I agreed to do this was because the brat practically begged me to" Tsunade responds.
Of course that wasn't true. All Naruto had to do was agree to a rematch with her at time of her choosing and give her a bottle of sake.
"So are we ready to do this?" Naruto asks Kakashi.
Kakashi just nodded and moved away from the crowd getting into his stance.
"You remember the rules that were agreed upon right. The spar will last 30 minutes. You are not to use jutsu above a B-rank, no assignation moves, no dōjutsu, no outside interference, and movement will be limited to the chosen training ground" Gai reminds.
Naruto nodded as he got into position moving into a fighting stance. Kakashi nodded as well.
"Alright, then let the fight begin" Kushina says from where she stood.
Kakashi made the first move rushing Naruto with a quick shunshin getting him in range as he slashed at the shorter blonde with his kunai. His slash was quickly blocked by a chakra blade. Over on the sidelines Asuma was both surprised and pissed that his favorite weapon he had custom designed was being used by Naruto, not that he had anything against him per say it was just ...
'Hey those are my thing' Asuma thinks.
Chakra flowed through the blades although instead of using wind channeled fire through them engulfing them in flames they threatened to spread out and engulf Kakashi. Kakashi wisely shunshined away creating space, but kept on the attack as he made the hand seals for a B-rank jutsu. He went through the seals with lightening precision and speed only using half of the need seals to enact the jutsu at full power.
"Suiton: Suiryūdan no Jutsu" Kakashi called out using the Water Dragon Bullet Technique.
Naruto countered by pumping more chakra through the blades using a B-ranked Fire Technique of the same design.
"Katon: Karyū Endan" Naruto calls producing a firey white hot Dragon Head that rushed to meet Kakashi's head on.
Naruto's technique was almost blinding to watch as the flames were literally white hot like a Supernova rushing across the field. Kakashi seeing this tried to increase the amount of chakra to his technique to counter act. Still he felt safe in that he was using a water technique against a fire. However, when the two techniques met Naruto's won out although it had decreased in size and strength allowing Kakashi to retreat towards the river and use a quick Water Wall. The Flame Bullet hit the wall and harmlessly dissipated.
Releasing the Wall Kakashi rushed to engage Naruto in a taijutsu bout as moved for a quick punch that Naruto blocked. Flipping away a bit Naruto then sprang forward using a high kick that Kakashi blocked only to go up in a poof of smoke revealing it to be a clone. Rushing through the Smoke Naruto released a punch of his own that caught Kakashi unprepared or seemed to as he to went up in a puff of smoke.
A second Kakashi came from behind Naruto kicking him up into the air.
"Kage Buyō" Kakashi calls out.
The real Kakashi swift upper kick to kick Naruto high into the air and then gets underneath securing him to use his next move. Naruto spins around to deliver a punch, but Kakashi maneuver's around and goes higher into the air allowing him to get above Naruto and deliver a vicious kick. However, to his surprise once kicked the Naruto underneath him exploded revealing it to be a clone. On the ground Naruto was already done the preparations for his jutsu. It was a move he stole from his studies of potential future enemies. It only needed one hand seal and a lot of chakra even if it was only B-rank.
"Fūton: Atsugai" Naruto intones using Kakazu's technique Wind Release: Pressure Damage as he held the Ram hand seal.
Thankfully for those on the ground the technique was directed up at Kakashi's falling form. Unlucky for Kakashi it hit him dead on. The tornado shape technique drilled hard into Kakashi hitting him with a force he's rarely felt and throwing him hard into the river luckily for him. He hit the water like a rock nearly knocking him on unconscious from the impact, but the fought through it refusing to lose again to the same fucking brat.
'No I won't lose, I will win and when I do I'm killing that little bastard rules or no rules' Kakashi thinks.
From the shore the witnesses to the spar were amazed.
"I didn't know Kakashi-san knew the Kage Buyō!" Lee screams.
"Aye, we've trained for many years together Lee although I do not approve of him using it in a friendly spar like this" Gai responds.
"Forget about that, did you see that Fire Technique!" "What was that!?" Konohamaru yells in excitement.
"I believe young master the technique displayed was Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet a technique your grandfather and I know very well. How a ... brat like him knows how to perform such a high level technique that requires many, many, many ..." Ebisu drones on.
"That's the old man's technique alright. It's a B-rank so it's allowed in the spar, but with the chakra he pumped into it it might as well have been an A-ranked technique" Asuma says.
"Well if it's one thing the kid has in spades it's chakra" Tsunade comments.
"But what about that Wind Release Technique he followed it up with, no way that was a B-ranked technique!" Kiba exclaims.
"Now Kiba, Naruto-kun wouldn't break the rules just to win a spar" Hinata admonishes.
"I'm glad to see such faith in my son" Kushina says with a smile.
"I-I-I ... ummm ..." Hinta stutters not sure how to react.
Back to the fight Kakashi jumps out of the water landing on the surface as he watches for any signs of movement or attack. He didn't have to wait long as a volley of shuriken and kunai. Using Wind Release: Great Breakthrough jutsu Kakashi manages to avoid the attack and is prepared for Naruto using the Shunshin to restart their taijutsu fight.
Kakashi with well honed precision snapped a punch to Naruto's face, then a right hook, followed by a jab, a low kick followed up by a punch to the boys solar plexus, another punch, a kick, a punch, a rising knee lift followed with a jumping spin kick, he tried a sweeping kick and followed up with rising punch, then he tried a spinning back elbow, then a back kick, and a then several rapid fire punches. Through all this Naruto merely blocked and moved side to side, up and down not bothering to retaliate.
It was clear when not using his eye Kakashi had a lot more stamina and his technique was near perfect, he may curse Gai but it was clear their rivalry had it's benefits. However, Naruto saw time was almost up and he had let this farce go long enough. To Kakashi it seemed to be in slow motion, but to everyone else even Gai and Tsunade it happened in a flash. Naruto blocked a punch for his head, moved inside Kakashi's guard gave him several rapid fire punches to his gut, and then one strong punch to his jaw. To the gennin that had been watching captivated by the fight they shocked to see Kakashi suddenly drop to the ground knocked unconscious.
Naruto stood over the downed jōnin and then looked over to the three judges.
"Naruto-kun, wins!" Kushina cheers.
Neither Gai or Tsunade denied that he had as Kushina rushes up to hug her son. Akari, Karin, Miyuki, and Shizuka followed after her giving their own congratulations not that they ever thought he would lose to the former ANBU Captain.
"You were great Naruto-kun" Karin says gushing over her cousins fight.
Akari, Miyuki, and Shizuka each gave him a kiss although each blushed about doing it publicly with an audience watching them. Hinata also went over to congratulate him although hers was more subdued than Karin's.
"Congratulations brat, looks like you won" Tsunade says having walked over and watching the spectacle with three girls.
"Thanks, here's your sake" Naruto says handing her a scroll.
Tsunade didn't even check the scroll or question it's contents before she unsealed the bottle and then shunshined away to some place she didn't think Shizune would find her. The other jōnin and their gennin save for Hinata walked over to the unconscious Kakashi.
"Damn, does this mean we don't get to fight that blonde bastard over there!" Kiba complains.
"Gai-sensei, I'm sure we could reason with Naruto-kun and get him to agree to a friendly spar" Lee begs.
"No Lee, we made a promise. If he won ... actually he never said what he wanted if he won" Gai suddenly remembers.
"Yosh, than I'll shall challenge Naruto-kun immediately my flames of youth are burning uncontrollably after witnessing that fight!" Lee yells.
"Yosh, that's right Lee! That is what youth is all about!" Gai cheers.
Lee immediately rushes up to Naruto.
"Yosh, fight me next Naruto!" Lee yells.
Naruto looks over at the excited young shinobi.
"I'm going to have to pass Lee" Naruto answers.
"What?" "Why?" Lee asks.
"I only took this fight so I didn't have to participate in any more 'spars' and Kakashi as well as your sensei promised that if I did that none of you would ask me to spar ever again" Naruto tells him.
"But Gai-sensei said he never made that promise!" Lee yells confused and frustrated.
"But I did, I only didn't say what I wanted as the victor in this spar" Naruto says.
"And what do you want?" Gai asks coming up behind his still fired up student.
"That's ... personal, tell Kakashi to find me when he wakes up" Naruto says as he moves to leave.
However, before he could do that someone decided they wanted to fight and wouldn't take no for an answer.
"AGGHHHH" Shouts Konohamaru as he charges.
However, he falls just short of Naruto tripping over his scarf. But that display emboldens others to follow his example.
"I too can not take no for an answer, Naruto-kun!" Lee says.
Lashing out with a punch Lee attacks Naruto forcing him to jump back away from the girls.
"Gai, get your student under control!" Kushina yells.
"I'm sorry, but I can not do that Lady Kushina" Gai responds.
"Why?" She asks simply.
"Because, Lee has been wanting to fight Naruto-kun for some time and ... I share his desire. Your son has become a powerful individual, some might say too powerful. I also would like to test myself against him" Gai says.
"That's nice, but now isn't the time for this and I'm going to put a stop to this nonsense before it gets out of hand" Kushina states.
Four golden chains erupt from Kushina and head to ensnare Lee, but Gai interferes using his favorite weapons the Sōshūga, a pair of nunchaku that intricately carved Chinese Dragons carved into the handles. Gai manages to knock the chains away as they retreat back to Kushina.
"I'm sorry Lady Kushina, I hope you will forgive me but I can not let anything interfere with Lee's fight" Gai says.
"And I don't think you understand that your stopping me from helping my son. If you don't move I'll be forced to fight you Gai" Kushina responds angrily.
"Lady Kushina, please stop. Naruto can take care of himself and Gai doesn't mean any harm. All of our students just want to prove they are strong" Asuma states having moved to stand beside Gai.
"Yes Lady Kushina, please see reason. Let the kids have their fight and get it out of their system. Naruto has proven he's strong enough that he won't get hurt" Kurenai says moving to stand beside her 'secret' boyfriend.
"You say that, but thanks to Gai his student Lee doesn't know when to quit and probably use the Gates in his fight with Naruto" Kushina argues.
"Lee would never do such a thing, he knows that that is for extreme situations as a last resort in a mission or when he's fighting to protect the team or village" Gai defends.
Kushina stops and looks at the situation.
'They are right Naruto shouldn't have any trouble with Lee as long as he doesn't use the Gates and he probably wouldn't want me interfering anyway' She thinks.
"Fine, but you should know Gai that it wasn't just Naruto I would have been protecting" Kushina states ominously.
"Huh, what do you mean?" Asuma asks.
"Naruto fought Kakashi civilly and with restraint as agreed upon. However, he made no such agreements with anyone else and you should know his policy. It was in his agreement with your father" Kushina reminds him.
As soon as she said that Asuma turned pale.
"What is his policy?" Kurenai asks.
"He can do anything save kill if he's attacked and seeing as he said no tried to walk away, I think this qualifies as an attack" Kushina says.
"He wouldn't harm any ally would he?" Kurenai asks.
"Depends on how far Lee goes" Kushina answers honestly.
With Naruto and Lee
Naruto blocked Lee's punch and and retaliated with a back elbow that knocked Lee off balance and allow him to follow up with an uppercut that threatened to knock a few teeth out.
"I said I'm not interested in fighting Lee. Your a good guy, but you need to back off or I won't hold back like I did with Kakashi" Naruto warns.
"Good, I want you to fight me with everything you got and I will do the same" Lee replies as he takes off his weights.
*Boom*
"I think you added some weight from what I remember in the preliminaries" Naruto says out loud.
"Release your seals!" Lee yells.
Naruto took his stance.
"I respect your abilities, but unless you think your stronger than Kakashi I don't need to. Oh and by the way this isn't a spar Lee, your attacking me and forcing something I don't want. If you stop now we can forget about it and go have some lunch, my treat" Naruto tries to reason.
"No!" "You will fight me and you will fight me now!" Lee yells as he charges.
As usual Lee was blazing fast which gave Naruto little time to form any handseals and use a jutsu. Instead Naruto ran into the forest as Lee chased him. A second later Naruto walks out from the treeline unscathed and walking leisurely as if it was just a stroll in the park.
"Where's Lee!" Gai yells rushing towards Naruto so fast he was like a blur to most in the training ground.
Instead of answering Naruto held up his hand causing Gai to stop.
"3,2,1 ... " Naruto counts down.
*Boom* *Boom* *Boom*
"What was that!?" Gai yells as he grabs Naruto harshly.
"Those would be the traps I had planned for Kakashi going off, because Lee is chasing a clone of mine through those areas" Naruto answers.
*Boom!*
"LEEEEEE!" Gai yells as he discards Naruto and rushes into the forest.
"You've taken this too far Naruto" Asuma admonishes.
"What are you talking about Saruboti, he attacked me and all I did was lead him through some traps ... nothing lethal, but it'll make him think before doing something like this again" Naruto responds.
"Don't you remember, Lee just got out of the hospital not long ago. He's hot head and over exuberant, but he wouldn't have been able to really hurt you. You could have gone easier on him" Kurenai butts in supporting her man.
"But I did take it easy on him. I could have dropped all my seals like he asked and fought for real, you can ask my mother about how that would have gone" Naruto responds.
"Your full of yourself brat if you believe you are that strong" Kakashi jumps in.
"Says the supposed Konoha's strongest jōnin, someone touted to have at one time be strong enough to fight a Kage, whom I've now beaten twice without any trouble and with most of my seals regulating my speed, movement, strength, and chakra still on" Naruto boasts.
"I doubt you could fight like that with even one seal on you" Kakashi responds.
Naruto who had been wearing a long sleeve black shirt with the Uzumaki crest on both sleeves, and black pants rolled up the sleeves of his shirt and pants legs. He then channeled his chakra through his body making the seals restricting his chakra glow and making the other seals visible showing various gravity, weight, but Kushina noted he also had absorption seals scrawled on his body.
"Wow, that's a lot of ink" Karin comments.
"It's transparent, only shows when I want it to" Naruto tells her.
"So what do they do?" She asks curious about the different seals.
"Well the rings around my wrists and ankles are the gravity and weight seals, but I'm careful with the gravity seals. I was really small as a little kid, don't want smoosh myself on accident" Naruto responds.
"How do you control those when your on a mission, surely your not stupid enough to have them active on a mission?" Kurenai chides.
Hinata, Miyuki, and Akari leveled the jōnin with a withering glare that almost made her step back a bit. Kushina, Karin, and Shizuka however were curious about the answer as were everyone else.
"There is a control seal I have easy access to, not that I will show everyone here where it is. If I felt the need to let loose or I or the mission was endangered I could release them" Naruto answers.
Of course it was a lie, there was no control seal.
"GRRRRR, then you better release them now because when me and Akamaru are done with you there won't be enough of you left for your mamma to bury!" Kiba threatens.
He and Akamaru swallow several pills then Kiba uses the ram hand seal to bring his chakra out as his hair, nails, and teeth lengthen as Akamaru transforms into a copy of Kiba. They both sprint towards Naruto at speeds similar to Rock Lee, but just like Lee they weren't fast enough instead of dodging Naruto runs towards the one on the Left and kicks him in the face making him fly backwards.
"Akamaru!" The now identified Kiba yells as he watches his partner fall to the ground.
Angry he rushes Naruto in a straight forward manner and lunges to tackle him and take him down, but Naruto is quicker and avoids the lunge making Kiba angrier as he leaps off the ground for another attempted lung only to miss. Akamaru now recovered rushes to join his master as they both side by side swipe at Naruto with their clawed hands. In their rush the Inuzuka duo never noticed as two clones came up from behind and grabbed them in a choke hold.
"Kiba!" Kurenai yelled.
Immediately a swarm of kikaichū descended towards the clones intent on stopping them from harming their teammate. However, the original naruto put a stop to that. He uses the handseals Rat → Ox → Dog → Horse → Monkey → Boar → Tiger and spews out an intense stream of fire that engulfs the swarm entirely.
"Katon: Gōka Messhitsu - Fire Release: Great Fire Destruction" Naruto says as he ends the flame.
Shino is shocked by the destruction of so many of his kikaichū failing to help Kiba and Akamaru as the clones let them fall to the ground unconscious and no longer any threat.
"KIBA! SHINO!" Kurenai yells angrily.
She glares at Naruto.
"You didn't need to do that!" She yells.
"One of your students attacks me and the other made a move to interfere. I'm not here to fight any of you, just the silver haired porn addict" Naruto reminds her.
"Where did you learn that technique!" Sasuke yells now in his stance for the Interceptor Fist.
"Oh that little gem, I learned that one a long time ago back when we were in the academy" Naruto reveals.
"How?" Shikamaru interrupts.
"Easy answer, see when this ones ..." he points to Sasuke "brother and his accomplice were running around killing his clan I raided them for everything I could fit into a scroll ... well a bunch of scrolls really, there was a lot of good stuff they had that they weren't ever going to use again" Naruto admits.
"You stole from my clan!" Sasuke yells angrily.
"Hey your clan and their so called village police force did much worse to me when they were alive. They beat me, used jutsu on me, ratted me out to a number of mobs that wanted to kill me, destroyed my property, some members even stood and watch as other kids and adults beat me and stole what little I could afford to buy on my meager allowance" Naruto ticks off his list of grievances with the Uchiha.
"My father wouldn't have allowed any of that to happen!" Sasuke rebukes.
"I never said he did, but just like the Hokage he can't be everywhere or supervise everyone in his employee ... even his ANBU" Naruto says with a pointed look at Kakashi.
"My clan would never abuse the privileged of serving the village and it's people, it was an honor my father and the elders took seriously" Sasuke protests.
"And yet there are always those that feel they deserve something better, that want something more or different" Naruto lectures.
"I'm sure you know all about that" Kakashi quips.
"That I do, there was a time when I hated everyone in this village especially certain clans but eventually you grow up and realize the only thing you can control is what you do" Naruto goes on ignoring Kakashi.
"Which is why I came that agreement with the previous Hokage and why I'm not trying to kill everyone and thing I see, just those that try to harm me or those I care for" Naruto finishes.
"Anyway now that your awake Kakashi I only want one thing from you ... what's your problem with me?" Naruto asks.
At this point all eyes turned to Kakashi including the newly returned green beasts.
"I don't know what your talking about Naruto, I don't have a problem with you" Kakashi lies.
"Really, because I swore some of those moves you were using were meant to do a lot more than incapacitate me like I did you and Uzuki-sensei mentioned you were upset when I wasn't placed on Team 7 but not because you wanted to train me and help me grow stronger but so I could help the Uchiha grow stronger while keeping me weak ... or what you presumed to be weak since by that time I had already acquired enough strength to beat you and do I even need to mention your track record as my ANBU detail that was supposed to be keeping me safe" Naruto elaborates.
Now Kakashi was sweating as Kushina and all of the girls including Hinata, but excluding Sakura, Ino, Tentent, and Kurenai.
"Your lying, I always did my job to the best of my abilities" Kakashi defends himself.
"Oh so I guess the silver haired individual wearing a mask that was following me but just so happened to go missing when things were thrown at me or kids were bullying me or when groups of your fellow ninja would attack me and they would return after I was laying on the ground bruised and battered wasn't you ..." Naruto accuses.
"That could have been anyone wearing a mask or a genjutsu to disguise themselves as someone who wore masks and had silver hair" He tries.
"Your the only ninja in the village with such shocking hair" Sakura points out sabotaging the defense.
"But it could have been a disguise or someone wearing a wig. I am universally recognized, they might not have been from this village" Kakashi asserts.
"Must have been a Kumo ninja with silver hair wearing a Dog ANBU mask with a face mask underneath for when he removed said Dog ANBU mask to smirk as he used random Raiton jutsu and Katon jutsu and Doton jutsu to inflict pain on a child" Naruto presses.
Kakashi just nods not trusting his voice with all the killer intent being thrown at him from Kushina.
"Alright, then I'm done here don't bother me again. I'm not your friend or teammate and I have no interest in helping you improve or even work with you outside of assigned missions. Let's go ladies I'll treat you to lunch" Naruto says as he once again moves to leave the training ground.
"Hinata, where are you going?" Kurenai asks.
"To lunch ..." she says looking towards Naruto.
"But we were going to ask the Hokage for a mission" Kurenai says.
Sad, but understanding Hinata watched as her crush walked away with a bunch of girls that weren't her. Slowly the remaining group dispersed with Gai taking Lee back to the hospital and his teammates following them. Team went to the Hokage Tower to ask for mission and Team 10 went with them. Meanwhile, Kakashi and Sasuke went to train while Sakura watched.
