บท 8: Hopeless
She could not escape!
Thats what Nue thought, she could feel her form slowly dissolving, stretching and bending, all of it going towards Reimu's hands, who was smilling mockingly
Reimu didnt expect that the so called demon of the ninja world, who in legends, brought terror to the world by defeating the sage of six path, was this weak compared to her, sure the amount of energy she had was absurd compared to her, and the ability to transform a object into anything was one of the best abilitys she had seen, but it was all useless because the 'demon' was inexpienced, lacking in combat experience and a too much of a coward to face someone head on
She even entertained the thought of just taking it under her wings, the 'demon' looked and acted like a normal human, and it was rational enough to even become friends with her, making it possible to intregate her into the clan and become a clan member, albeit with some dificulties to get her first, she only needed a wave of her hand and make her completely defeated by her, and make her submissive and obedient to her to make sure of her not betraying later
Heck, she will even thank her for being stuck for so long, if not for Nue, these crystals would have not been created, and if the clan didnt fould a way to become stronger, her clan would be like the fuuma clan, having the potential of the Uchiha but not having any Kekkei genkai to make them truly special, always staying in the shadow of the Uchiha clan
But for now, both were enemies, and she needed to defeat her first, in which she fould a easy way to defeat her, only needing to use her ability on Nue herself
While Reimu was having these thought of making Nue her personal pet, Nue was wracking her brain in how to escape, she could not attack Reimu because could simply redirect her attack to bot hit her, running would not help much either, hand to hand combat with her? Nue would be folded like twig by Reimu, she doesnt know any martials arts to hurt Reimu
She could watch as her form started to be destroyed, her arms dissolved into light particles that are already in Reimu hands, her stomach, legs, jaw, and various parts of her body being destryed and coming towards the at now basketball sized energy ball above Reimu hands
Nue had no idea of what to do, she was panicking as much as she had in the Hagoromo fight, hopeless, powerless, frustation of being so useless in actual combat
Slowly, she was accepting fate, her fate of always being useless in a fight, first with hagoromo fight, she only won because he was already tired after attacking her so long, managing to hit a one shot attack, but now with Reimu...probably it will not work because she was still in top shape, and knows how mana work, so she have a pretty good chance to counter
She started to look at the ground, seeing her reflection on it, her pathetic form being destroyed by Reimu, but a sudden idea came across her mind
~wait...these crystal are made of me, they have my chakra, natural energy, mana, all of my being...can i dive inside of it?~
And so with this thought, she gambled her luck and tried to dive with her still intact half of her body into the crystal
And surprisingly...
It worked!
Reimu seeing this, she looked like a bit surprised with how versatile Nue is, being able to change shapes of her body, transform objects, recover extremely fast after various attacks, and now just be able to utilize the life crystals just made her interest in capturing her even more bigger
Reimu raised her other hand to try to remove Nue from the ground, but she noticed that it was not working anymore, maybe because shes now inside the ground, but it didnt matter to her, she simply just need to charge her true sealing ability, comparated by most as strong as the uzumaki's, at the crystals that are securing Nue, in which it will be gone
She started to making hand signs with her Gohei, a stick thats looks like a magic wand with ribbons on it
Just as she about to use the sealing technique, suddenly....
The ground she was stading in exploded!
Reimu looked very surprised at that moment, Nue finally managed to hurt her!
the explosion was very big, making her fly far away, dropping her gohei and the energy ball in which immediatly flied away towards to ground, reuniting with Nue's body
Sekibanki looked surprised too, at one momet they were crushing Nue, at the next moment the clan leader suddenly suffered a big explosion to the face, she immediatly started running to Reimu to check if she was seriously injured
Even Nue, who was watching inside the crystals, looked surprised, she began to thought that maybe she used her ability unconsciously, wishing to make Reimu get away from her, making her use her ability to make some of the crystal explode
Nue noticed that this was her chance, her chance to escape this madness, she instantly swim inside the crystals, going to the highest place it could get, which brought her to a small line crystals at the tltop of gensokyo
She was mesmorized by the beauty of the city, with various types of folks in there, but she needed to find a place to hide first, she got out of the crystal and landed in dark alley, theres not many people in that place so she could rest for a while
Meanwhile, Reimu was recuperating from the explosion, getting help from sekibanki to get up
Reimu was furious, getting hit from a sudden explosion and letting Nue, who could've been a massive asset to her clan get away, it was not a pleasant feeling at all, with red eyes, she pushes sekibanki away and orders her
"Sekibanki, i appreciate your help, but now i need you to send the maximun amount of heads you can create and spread them all around the gensokyo, and announce that the demon has awakened, say about all abilities we manage to see during the fight and its weakness too" Reimu said, giving a command to sekibanki
"...isnt it better we say that its a intruder instead of the...the 'girl' awakened?" Senkibanki questioned with her very low voice, almost whispering
"No, this was what we trained for decades, for in case of this happening, we will not let this threat walking so freely out here, i will go to the main base and annouce to all elites jonins to come to gensokyo immediatly"
"...yes Reimu-sama..." said sekibanki, knowing that with the most powerful clam members coming, this event will probably end soon
Reimu was just about to get out of the crystal layer when she remembered someone important
"Oh, and Seiga...come with me, i want every detail you managed to get out of her, name, age, race or anything really, just tell me, i know you are hiding something..."
Seiga kaku was just stading there the whole time, watching the chaos happening, now wit Reimu demanding her to answer some questions, she turned her away from where Nue escaped
With all that said, Reimu grabbed Seiga hands and started to fly together with Seiga towards the main base at gensokyo, planning to use a modified special version reverse summoning technique, that it can summon quickly they strongest warriors
Senkibanki didnt waste time either, she got out of the crystal layer, and started to create various flying heads that spread to every corner of gensokyo to annouce the population
She takes a deep breath and...
"ATTENTION, ALL AVAILABLE NINJAS, THE DEMON HAS AWAKENED, REPEATING, THE DEMON HAS AWAKENED, WE TRAINED ALL OF OURS LIFE TO COMBAT THIS MANACE!! THE DEMON HAS THE ABILITY...." the sekibanki heads started to scream at the top of her lungs about the Nue, giving information about her abilities and weakness
While Nue, who was in a dark alley, watched dumbfounded that now the entire city was now under maximum alert now
"Motherfu- how do i manage to escape now?! I need to think fast...wait what was that" while nue was saying her thoughts out loud, she noticed that the dark alley got more darker for some reason, then she finally saw it
The shadows in the alleyway started rapdly moving towards her, forming a dozen tentacles coming towards her
"H-H-HENTAI!!! I ALREADY WATCHED ENOUGH OF STUFF, GET LOST!" she started to think the worst of what can happen if she was captured by these shadow tentacles
She started to fires danmakus at with, destroying all of them in the process, seeing this, she started running towards the exit of the alleyway
When she got out of the alley, she was hit by a massive ice block created by a girl wearing blue and white cloathing
"MUAHAHAHA, EVEN THE LEGENDARY DEMON CANT ESCAPE FROM MY STRONGEST ATTACKS, NOW TEMBLE IN FEAR, BECAUSE YOU ARE ABOUT TO FACE THE GREAAAT CIRN- eh why are you running away!?"
While the ice girl was screaming in frustation for being ignored, again... Nue was running aimlessly, she had no idea of what she could do now, every corner looked like a trip to her death or capture
While Nue was running, suddenly her vision got all reverse, straight become backwards, left become right, and she started to fly towards the sky without her imput
"hctib desrever teg"
Nue could not understand what she heard or not heard, it was confusing as hell
Nue started to low scream while in the air, and once more, a person suddenly appeaired above her in the air, having horns and orange hair, holding chains in her arm with a metal balls attached at the end of it
"PREPARE THY SELF"
The person hit a haymaker at Nue, making her crash against the road, leaving a small crater and a bunch of dust, covering most of her vision
Atlest that strange ability of making everything reverse was gone, she managed to recover a little and said
"Cough cough cough DAMN CAN I HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF PEACE PLEASE!?!
she could not get a bit of peace
As if the author really wanted her to have more caracter development, a massive blast of fire suddenly appeared, burning everything around the road, even Nue herself
"Its time to kick ass and smoke cigarettes, but im all out of cigarettes..."
A white haired girl said that, she looked like Reimu if she ate the fire flower from the mario series, she created make fire blasts to burn Nue alive
Nue regeneration was not rapid enough to always heal in time against the onslaught of fire attacks, her form slowly dissolving into a ball of light again
Nue really had not idea of what to do, there was no escape, every corner had another person waiting to attack her, and she didnt even saw a glimpse of the exit yet
She started to enter into panic mode again, Nue just started to run at any direction, hoping for a miracle to happen
Just as she was running, she unexpectedly tripped, making her fall in a small river that was in her left, Nue didnt think much of it, jsut as she was about to leave the river, she saw something that could help
She saw something that looked liked a sewage entrance, she looked at her left and right to cofirms if this was not another trap, but she quickly stopped doing that, knowing that the sewage entrance was her only hope, and wasting no time, she transfomed into a fish, entering the sewage entrance
Inside there, the place had a horrible smell, was dark and small, not letting much room to breath
But she had to keep going, she had no alternative, just as she about to speed up to reach the end, she saw something interesting
She saw a door, a door that looked old and was near of collapsing, seeing that, she become curious, who in the right mind would live inside a sewage system out of all place?
But nonetheless, she didnt feel any danger of coming in there, so Nue decided to take a little peek, she could quickly leave there, what the worse that could happen?
Quickly stopping her thoughts, she didnt want to jixn herself, she removed her fish form and opened the door
The door got her inside a very small tunnel, needing her to crawl to enter, so she started crawling inside ths tunnel
The tunnel was deep, needing five minutes to just see a light at the end, the light was actually a bonfire, bringing her warmth even inside the tunnel
Finally at the end of the tunnel, she exited the tunnel and fould herself at a small cave, enough to fit some necessities, the walls of the cave were filled with paper tags that had seals in it, but Nue didint pay attetion to it
Her total focus was on the bonfire, she was feeling strangely calm because of the bonfire, as if all that happened before was gone
Slowly, she walked towards the bonfire, the fiery color attracting her like a moth towards the light, when she got near enough, she just looked at it for a bit longer and sat down on the rocky ground, letting go of all her worries for a moment of peace
Suddenly, a lazy voice appeared
"Eh? You liked the bonfire? I myself created, nothing too much special at it, just used some low quality life crystal as fuel~"
She was startle, quickly looking over at the owner of the lazy and amused voice
She saw dark haired girl, had dark blue, white skin, with baggy clothes that looked comfortable to wear, like a pijamas, but it was old and dirty, that looked like it had a bad smell but somehow it didnt
She had seals all over her body, as if keeping her away from something, or herself...
In her home world, even if she was a tomboyish girl, in touhou, the caracter in front of her was her waifu, something she didnt expected to get attached so much to such a fictional caracter
The one she was thinking about was of course, the most popular homeless person in touhou was...
