His gaze fixed upon Kaito, with those deep crimson eyes appearing particularly eerie. The chakra radiating from him was also incredibly intimidating.
When he heard what Kaito had said, a smile unexpectedly emerged on his face, but with that smile, he seemed even more dangerous.
"It has indeed been a long time, Uchiha Kaito."
He slightly twisted his neck, and amidst the 'crackling' noises, he continued,
"But I've heard that you've caused quite a stir recently."
"Oh? Can you still have good chats with others in the pure land?"
Upon hearing this, Kaito's eyes flickered slightly, but he still retorted with a jest. Yet, in his heart, he might already have some answers. Clearly, Uchiha Madara's revival must have been some time ago!
Kaito knew that Uchiha Madara, if he hadn't achieved the power he anticipated, would disdain using the technique to release the reanimation jutsu.
This also suggests that he probably didn't bother resisting Orochimaru. Otherwise, with his abilities, he could have taken control and even set himself completely free.
Given this lack of resistance, combined with Orochimaru's continuous research and improvements on experiments, it's likely normal for Madara to be summoned early to see the results.
After all, Kaito himself was well aware that even if his growth rate was not as rapid as the overpowered Sasuke and Naruto, it was still unbelievably faster than most top-tier prodigies.

"As for the Raikage, he's certainly powerful. Even my Susanoo was shattered by him. But fortunately, I'm not too shabby either. I severed one of his hands and, after some effort, subdued the Eight-Tails as well. They should be en route to Konohagakure by now."
"An impressive feat, and your decision was wise. However, I'd advise you not to release them. It's better if such people are dealt with permanently."
Uchiha Madara nodded, seeming to be searching for answers on Orochimaru's behalf.
"Fortunately, you were born in this era. If it were my time, they would've likely been released."
"After all, the current Hokage was instated by me. In certain matters, I have more advantages than you."
Kaito chuckled softly, but his words caused Uchiha Madara to frown, clearly displeased. Kaito, however, didn't pay heed and continued,
"As for the Raikage and Eight-Tails, we have our own methods and strategies, so there's no need for your concern."
"True, I don't need to dwell on this matter."
Uchiha Madara nodded in agreement, but his expression quickly became solemn.
"I also heard you defeated Senju Hashirama, is that true?"
Upon hearing this, Kaito's expression turned peculiar. How could he not know about the relationship between Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama? By singling out Hashirama, Kaito began to wonder if Madara might be seeking revenge on Hashirama's behalf.
Regardless of Madara's intentions, Kaito simply nodded in acknowledgment.
"Yes, I defeated him, not just him but also his somewhat distasteful younger brother. However, I'm aware that he wasn't at his prime, so there's nothing to be particularly proud or pleased about."
"No, you should be proud."
Suddenly, Uchiha Madara spoke to Kaito with utmost seriousness. Kaito could feel that, at that moment, Madara's aura reached its peak.
"No matter how weak he might be or how much of his power he could manifest, always remember that he is Senju Hashirama!
Hashirama is not someone whose worth can be measured simply by power. Your attitude really disappoints me.
But it doesn't matter, you will never understand what Senju Hashirama truly represents. So, let me see for myself how you managed to defeat that man!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Uchiha Madara's chakra erupted, generating a small whirlwind from its terrifying force.
However, Madara's aggressive stance left Kaito puzzled. He genuinely wanted to ask, "Sure, you, Uchiha Madara, and Senju Hashirama might have been close. But what does that have to do with me? Why should I understand him as much as you do?"
"Fire Release: Great Fire Dragon Technique!"
However, Uchiha Madara wasted no time in chatter. Forming hand seals, he unleashed a roaring fire dragon that spanned tens of meters.
The massive dragon continuously raised the temperature around it as it ferociously lunged at Kaito.
"He's insane!"
Seeing Uchiha Madara attack directly, Kaito silently cursed and began forming his own hand seals without hesitation.
In response, a similarly sized fire dragon, but colored in alternating shades of black and white, roared to life, charging straight at Uchiha Madara.
The red and black dragons collided mid-air, causing a tremendous chakra explosion. The surrounding trees were instantly set ablaze.
The shockwaves from their collision continued to ripple outwards, forcing others like Shisui to hastily retreat further back.
Further away, Yaneko and three younger individuals had to continue evacuating as well. Just the first clash between these two reached such intense levels. Who knows what could happen if the fight continues?
Yaneko knew that Tsunade had advised Kaito not to cause too much commotion, to which Kaito had replied that he'd "try his best."
It seemed Kaito was indeed trying his best in that direction.
The moment the fiery clash of the dragons dissipated, Kaito and Uchiha Madara charged directly at each other.
This time, Uchiha Madara was clearly prepared and did not need to snatch weapons from Kaito's ninja pouch as he had during their last encounter.
It's been a while since his revival, and Uchiha Madara is well aware that taking something from Kaito's ninja pouch won't be easy.
While his strength upon this resurrection is indeed great, it does have a limit. After all, the power of his vessel is at that level, and his maximum potential has been locked in place.

The intense battle erupted the moment their figures intertwined. Their speeds were incredibly fast, with only the clashing sounds of kunai and ninja blades echoing.
Kaito was deeply immersed in the fight, realizing that this Uchiha Madara's abilities were truly top-notch.
Especially in his Sharingan state, this guy was immensely challenging to deal with.
This version of Uchiha Madara was evidently far stronger than the previous one.
