บท 568: A Promise

Vincent was taken aback for a moment.

He had never seen the dark side of Jean.

Even when Jean was abroad, he never had such an appearance as long as he had a serious illness.

Vincent's throat was dry and he gritted his teeth before finally meeting Jean's eyes. "As long as you return to Parma with me, I will heal her eyes."

The man raised his lips dangerously. "I promise you."

"I don't believe it!" Vincent sneered. "You think I'm a kid you can easily lie to? I won't believe you unless you get on the plane back to Parma with me."

"Is that why you hurt her eye?"

The man stopped and stepped closer to him.

Vincent subconsciously took a step back. "Jean, mate, you broke my rules and I'm only asking for my payment, that's all. Don't threaten me, unless you don't want her eyes to heal!"

"Vincent, you really aren't human!" Julius pointed at him angrily, he wanted to step forward and tear his hypocritical face.
