'Shit!' Using the systems view, Blake quickly focused on the spot above him, immediately freezing it and activating the systems barrier.

BOOM!

The lightning bolt crashed into both barriers causing the earth below Blake to shatter, forming a mini crater beneath him.

The barriers had managed to take most of the hit, but the impact of the lightning bolt left Blake sore and part of the lightning had managed to make its way through the cracks in the barrier connecting with Blake.

'Fuck… meee!'

Blake cursed as he spasmed from the electricity that surged through his entire body, but due to his inability to move, he looked perfectly fine on the outside.

[Your internal organs aren't in the best of conditions; you can't afford to take another hit…] The system alerted Blake after checking the amount of damage he had sustained.
