บท 17: Chapter 17: Courting

A month or so after Simon somewhat smoothed things out between Chase and Morgan things finally settled. Morgan still hovered while Chase cleaned sometimes but not often and he’d stopped trying to help him.

Chase found he enjoyed Morgan’s company and that he’d started to miss it when he wasn't around.

Morgan summoned Chase to his office one day and Chase grew worried he’d done something wrong. He paced outside the door for a moment before gently knocking, pushing it open timidly when he got a response, “Come in.”

Morgan set some papers he’d been going over aside and motioned Chase forward, making a gesture towards the chair in front of his desk. When Chase just shook his head slightly Morgan nodded and continued.

“I wanted to check up on you,” Morgan said, studying Chase closely. “You've been here for a while now, how are you getting on with everyone? I know you mostly talk to Korrin and Simon but what about everyone else? Are you happy here?”
