The dust that had been churned up in the ferocious battle slowly settled, revealing the dramatic tableau before them. 

Cardinal Rossi, once the epitome of grace in his white robes, now stood disheveled and battered. His left cheek was swollen, and blood stained his holy attire where Leo had inflicted a deep gash with his bare hands. 

Despite the dire condition, there was no fear in the Cardinal's eyes; instead, they blazed with seething anger. His sacred scepter quivered violently by his side, its divine flames roaring even brighter with each passing moment.

Cardinal Rossi's gaze shifted to the cursed mummy with strange eyes. It had remained eerily silent, attempting to recover from the severe injuries inflicted by the Cardinal. Yet, even without words, both sides shared an unspoken understanding that Leo was the true threat here.
