"Ha... nice try Ayo."
"I had to get us dinner!" Ayo replied Dara who was the first to catch a glimpse of him as he strolled in like he hadn't just escaped so skillfully because he didn't want to clean. At least he was thoughtful to come with dinner.
"No, your days of eating takeout in this house are over. The best chef now lives with you." His aunt proclaimed folding her hand on her accentuating breast– there was no way he wouldn't look twice even though she was her aunt, to top it all, her silky tight black top was nice on it.
Funmi traced the line of his and upon discovering where they fell on she looked at her own.
'...they are so small...' She hugged herself shamefully. Even though she wanted to raise an issue of him looking at his aunt's breast, deep down she wanted to be the one he was looking at and hated that hers were very small compared to hers.
Ayo, disregarding all thoughts dropped the food on the table where his aunt had just finished cleaning. He looked around his house in awe.
The slum-looking house of his had suddenly become a glamorous penthouse.
"Interesting... why go through all the trouble to make this place look like this?" He wondered aloud.
"Or you mean, why not go through all the trouble..." Funmi intercepted but that wasn't what he meant, however, didn't feel the need to fend her ideology off.
If he was asked to over again, he'd rather just sleep, or walk or laze around than spend quality time arranging this place.
'This place is going to be filled from now on.'
"Oh, my God! It's roasted chicken! You must have known I love roasted chicken!" Dara shouted as she unsealed the packaged plastic that contained the food Ayo bought.
"Not really, it was nearby." He replied briefly and sat cross-legged in front of the table, opposite his cousin.
"Eh? What are you guys doing?" Dara's mom demanded, cocking her head with a shimmering dilated pupil.
The part of chicken laps she was already chewing slowly slipped out of her mouth as she looked at her mother's scary expression.
Ayo was only devastated by the fact that she spat back what she had taken into her mouth, he looked down with unbelief, his eyes shaking but she wasn't even paying attention to him.
"Araaa... did you guys not hear what I said...?"
"B-B-B-But mom, c-c-can't we just take this one for the night?" She asked, her lips slamming against themselves as if she caught a cold.
"Last I recall, you were very rude to your mother, seeing you stammering like that is so lame I can't even believe I asked you to teach me martial arts," Ayo spoke casually, after separating the part she returned from her mouth, his eyes were fixated on the chicken.
"You weren't the one in a dungeon with her for two days. Don't tell me shit" She whispered back to him but her eyes were still seeking the forgiveness of her mom.
"Ma'am, I have to take my leave now!" Funmi who had been silent suddenly rose and bowed her head slightly at Dara's mother but her eyes couldn't sway away from those breasts.
"Oh my, why don't you join them and eat a little before you go?"
"I'm fine ma... it is evening already, I must be home quick, or else my parents will get worried."
"Ah..." She replied, sounding disappointed. "I can understand that base on what has been happening for a few days home. Do you perhaps want Ayo to escort you home?"
Her face lit up with a new kind of light. She rigorously nodded.
"Yes Yes Yes ma! I would love it ma!"
Shola smiled at the teenager's cute response.
"Alright. Baby boy, will you see her off."
Ayo bowed his head and was probably brimming with anger. He was just coming from outside but he was about to be stressed to go outside again because some certain girl insisted that she wants to be escorted.
[A NEW QUEST HAS ARRIVED]
Ayo sneered down at what suddenly appeared before his eyes.
[Quest]
> Your aunt Shola insists that you escort this clingy female Funmi out. Refuse to do so.
> Quest reward: 300 exp points, +2 random skill cards.
> Quest failure: 50 minutes on the Second Floor of the tower.
'Bastard!' Ayo giggled as he saw it.
His sudden giggling puzzled put everyone in a sort of blank composure, no one said anything that required laughing, except if he had suddenly run mad.
He stood up and looked at his aunt who still had her blank expression on.
"And if I say no?"
Her blank face quickly faded to a psychopathic older lady grin with her arms folded.
No more need to be said.
'...looks like I will be spending a few minutes in the tower today.' He nodded his head as he accepted his fate and turned to Funmi who was still glimmering with happiness that Ayo would escort.
"Don't come here tomorrow," Ayo warned her as he walked out of his living room and she followed right behind him hopping like a Bambi of some sort.
...
A while later the two were already walking down the streets that led to her home.
"Ayo, but really do you not know who that man is?"
"Anonymoushunter001?" He replied to her as he picked his nose dirt with one finger and clumsily cleaned it off on his body. "...I said it a thousand times already. I don't know who that is." He replied to her question and suddenly stopped.
"Huh?" She was caught by surprise because not only did Ayo just stop, his laid-back expression had become super cautious with his eyes slit narrowed.
"Is something wrong?"
'Did I say something wrong?' She worried, carefully looking at him however, he didn't respond.
[You have detected the presence of lurking awakened humans]
Even before the system announced it Ayo could already feel their presence, he could vividly capture their breathing patterns through his breathing, it was as if he was smelling their breath.
'...with how careful and unsteady their breathing is... this must mean they are quite inexperienced in this regard and are probably trying to sneak on us. Are they trying to rob us?'
Been so depressed and dejected, feeling so lame I decided to drop one chapter... apparently this book has the prospect to be great or so I thought.
