บท 2: Chapter 2 - Welcome To Musutafu: 2

In the time Yoshihara was taken in by Nemuri, she got accustomed to the new sweet she would live in for the foreseeable future. The sweet was located at the top of a famous love hotel, Love Love Deluxe, that Nemuri had a hand in creating. Yoshihara took up a job in the love hotel as the receptionist and even helped clean the rooms with the staff as a way to make some extra money.

The sweet the two shared was twice as big as any apartment she used to live in, and it had an actual bedroom for her to sleep in. There was a small kitchen with a fridge and a stove, as well as a few cupboards to store dishes, a living room with a T.V. and a table, and even a miniature hot tub located just adjacent to the living room with viewing access to the T.V.

Even though she had moved an hour away from Aldera Junior High, she still went there. In terms of school, it was the same. Go to class, eat alone as preferred, then go back home and study.

But in between all of that, she trained.

Midnight was a tough teacher, forcing her not to use her "Quirk" so that her body would be able to withstand the beatings that it would get on the regular in the line of work as a Pro Hero.

It first started with stance practices, making sure her footwork was good. Then it slowly evolved into dodging punches and kicks while standing still. It took several attempts to even dodge a single punch—let alone a kick! While the punches Midnight were dishing out were weak, they still hurt. Even after getting the option to stop this kind of training, Yoshihara persevered. After two days of taking punches and kicks from the Rated-R Hero, Yoshihara finally could dodge anything Midnight sent her way, so long as she was standing still.

The next thing Yoshihara practiced was shadowboxing. This helped her practice the types of close-ranged attacks and blocks that she could use to her advantage, and while Midnight was unaware of it, it also helped out her "Quirk" at the same time.

These were mostly kickboxing techniques, low kicks, jabs, hooks, and some throws. This process took three months to master, on top of lifting weights, doing basic exercises, and going on morning and nightly runs.

When she got all of that down and other academic things such as projects, tests, studying, and homework in between, she started to train with Midnight in hand-to-hand combat. No Quirks, just pure skill. Five months went by far too fast for any of them to catch, each of them giving it their all. By the time the five months came to an end, Yoshihara was able to knockout Midnight, and while out of all the matches that they held, it was only once, but even then, it was a fluke as the pro had accidentally opened herself to an uppercut, allowing Yoshihara to score a knock-out-blow.

Even though it was just a fluke, Midnight deemed her worthy enough to go to U.A. and gave her a recommendation because, in Midnight's eyes, she was more than worthy of being a pro hero.

All her training had paid off, and while there was still one month away till the entrance exam, that didn't mean there still wasn't more to do…

[Present Day – 6 AM, Monday, March 12th, 2123]

The humming of a peaceful alarm echoed throughout a moderately sized bedroom, open windows allowing white drapes to flow in the morning winds. Rays of the sun shone through the open windows, illuminating the once-dark bedroom. Off in a corner, a figure shifted around underneath a set of heavy fibre blankets on a Queen-sized mattress.

A light groan came from the covers, a hand reaching out to a brown bedside table, grabbing hold of a phone—the object responsible for creating the light humming sound of the alarm. A finger swiped up on the screen as a means to stop the incessant hum before placing the phone gently back down on the table.

Afterwards, the figure underneath the blanket sat up, stretching out their arms as they let out a soft, barely audible yawn. The bangs of their golden blond hair covered their eyes as they stretched, not noticing that the covers had fallen off their top, exposing that the blond had been wearing a shoulderless fluffy pink blouse underneath.

Pushing her hair out of her face, baby blue eyes lazily opened to greet the early morning. Looking around the room, her eyes glanced over a dresser with a mirror, a closet, a bookshelf filled to the brim with Shojo and Shonen Manga of the pre-Quirk era, and a T.V. set hooked onto a wall—walls that had been painted light orange with a "skyline" of a dimmed down yellow, mimicking that of a sunset.

Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, the blond flipped the rest of the covers off of her body, revealing her to be wearing a pair of trimmed shorts underneath. Her legs were toned and muscular from the training she had endured over the course of nine months, though they were leaner than outright bulging with muscle.

Jumping out of bed, she stretched out her back, bending backwards as she groaned a tad bit louder than when she did upon waking up. Afterward, she corrected her posture, standing up straight as a smirk found its way on her face. The reason why she was smirking was because of a calendar hanging just adjacent to her closet.

The calendar was hero-themed, each of the twelve months themed after the top twelve heroes in all of Japan. Since it was currently March, the calendar was themed after the Pro Hero – Hawks, one of the blond's personal favourites for reasons that would be obvious for any teenage girl, or teenage boys for that matter, into hot blond twinks or twinks in general.

But that wasn't why she was smirking. No, she was smirking because of today's date. Today marked the second week of March, and on April 1st, the entrance exam U.A. held would be available to the public, but just before that, a special exam held for those who other Pro Heroes recommended was held, and that exam was only two weeks away, landing on March 24th.

"Just two more weeks, and I'll be able to take on the recommendation exam!" The blond exclaimed, her voice sounding slightly rough due to a dry throat and a lack of water. She had an hour to get ready for school, catch the bus, and show up on time.

Usually, going to school was something that the blond had no real care for. She was a born natural at it, but that didn't mean she liked it. However, today was different.

Over the past nine months, Yoshihara Kira had been looking out for the green-haired boy from the video she had watched all that time ago, but he was more elusive than a camouflaged snake. A part of Yoshihara believed that he might've gone to a different school. However, the fact that he wore the same uniform as other males at her school seemed to disprove this.

This led her to believe that he DID go to Aldera. However, no matter how hard she tried to find him, he was NEVER around. It was like looking for Waldo in those old pre-Quirk eras Wheres Waldo books.

Today, however, she was determined to find him.

Opening up her closet, she grabbed her school uniform before exiting her bedroom, watching Nemuri walk out of her room in her pro-hero uniform. The R-rated hero waved at her before heading down a set of stairs. In response, Yoshihara waved at her in return before walking to the bathroom, which was just two rooms to her bedroom's left.

When she entered the bathroom, she quickly turned on the bathtub faucet and let the water run on hot for a while as the blond stripped down to nothing, looking at herself in the mirror.

Her body was rather muscular for a girl her age, shoulder muscles defined, though only slightly. Her arms were moderately sized, and her back and stomach regions were defined, along with a small six-pack forming on her midriff.

The blond wasn't a buff semi-truck—she was more lean than mountain-sized—though if a person looked at her the way she was right now, they would think more than twice to pick on her.

Then there were the scars.

The scars ran up her arms, body, and back, some even on her knees and some even near her nether regions. She hated looking at her body for too long. It always brought her back to a time she'd wish to forget. A time when her life hadn't been so nice, a time even before that crappy sex-worker job and before the crappy apartment.

Quickly looking away from herself in the mirror, she checked the water, turned the faucet handle a tad over to the left, checked again, then turned on the showerhead.

The shower was short, sweet, and to the point. Wash hair, condition hair, rinse hair, scrub down her body, rinse off, exit shower, dry off, then get dressed. She didn't like wasting time in the mornings, as to her, wasting any time was like wasting your life. Just before she left the bathroom, she turned on the fan to clear the steam from the shower before grabbing her dirty clothes and walking downstairs.

As soon as she entered the living room, she was met with Midnight, Aka Nemuri, skinny dipping in the hot tub. "Good morning, sweet cheeks. How was the sleep?" The ravenette teased her with the nickname she utterly hated, causing the blond to puff up her cheeks with indignation. This response got a chuckle from the pro hero, who sunk deeper into the water with a relaxing moan.

"You know, you really need to try this hot tub on your own one of these times. It's the best way to relax those aching muscles of yours," Nemuri commented as Yoshihara walked into the kitchen.

"Yeah, right, like I'd do that. Besides, aren't you supposed to be heading out on patrol, or did someone else take up your spot again?" Yoshihara avoided the topic by asking the pro a reasonable question, which earned her a slight frown.

"Why yes, actually, the newbie, Mt. Lady, I think her name was, took my position for the morning. She's new, so I let her. Besides, she needs the exposure," the hero replied as Yoshihara nodded, going to the fridge before grabbing some milk, walking over to a cupboard for a bowl, and then grabbing a box of All-Might-O's, Chocolate edition.

"Having a cheat day, I see?" Nemuri questioned as Yoshihara nodded in response, pouring the cereal into the bowl, followed by the milk. As soon as she did so, two things of toast popped out of a toaster as Nemuri gasped.

"Oh, shoot, I forgot about that. Uh, hey, Yoshi-chan, do you mind buttering those up for me, please, thank you?" Nemuri asked, a dopey smile on her face as Yoshihara scoffed. At least that nickname was better than sweet cheeks.

"Fine," the blond muttered, earning a smile from the pro.

"You're the best. You know that" the ravenette commented as Yoshihara's cheeks glowed a slight pink from the compliment, a rarity in her lifetime.

The only time she ever got compliments were—"No, don't think about that. That stupid job is long behind you, enough!" The blond thought, grabbing a butter knife and some store-bought butter from the fridge. Opening the cupboards, she snagged a plate to put the toast on before buttering said toast and scooting it off into the microwave to keep it warm.

Snagging a spoon from the utensils drawer, Yoshihara closed the fridge, the cupboards, and the utensils drawer before grabbing her bowl of cereal and walking over to the living room with her food and switching on the T.V.

The news showed a fight happening in downtown Esuha with the pro hero Fatgum and a sidekick (or intern) with a weird chimera Quirk, as well as another with a psychic Quirk, fighting against a few Yakuza thugs. The reporter commented on it like it was a football game, which annoyed Yoshihara, though she didn't quite care for it all too much.

"You see that Yoshi-chan, one of these days, you're going to be doing that with a pro hero once you get your provincial license," Nemuri said, getting out of the hot tub, wrapping herself in a towel as Yoshihara responded with a hum.

She wasn't very talkative in the mornings, usually just wanting to keep to herself so that she could move on with her day—something that Nemuri found bothersome—though it was normal for the blond. Unless something truly caught her attention and she wanted to speak about it, trying to start a conversation with her in the morning was like trying to thread a needle.

It didn't take long for Yoshihara to finish breakfast and prep her bag for school. By that time, Nemuri was upstairs in her room—the sounds of pleasure echoing from said room indicated to the blond that she was hornier than a succubus at the moment.

It was a side-effect of the pro's Quirk. If she wasn't bored, happy, drunk or otherwise in some other mood, she was hornier than a rabbit during mating season, which was weird since her Quirk was sleep-gas.

That wasn't a bad thing. The blond didn't mind. It was when the ravenette tried hitting on her that it became problematic. While this wasn't a side effect of her Quirk, it was more or less a problem with Nemuri's past as a sex worker, which sometimes showed up from time to time while in one of her "Quirk-activated-horny-moments," patent pending, which caused her to do this.

Yoshihara was Bi-sexual, so it wasn't that it was an issue based on her sexual preferences, but it was a morality issue on the stance that she was a minor and she was an adult. Granted, the law stated that it was legally okay due to the age gap being regarded as "legal," but morally, it wasn't. Whenever Nemuri would snap out of her little horn-dog trance, she would profusely apologize to the blond for it, usually ending in Midnight trying her best to distance herself from the blond for a week as a result.

Yoshihara didn't hold it against the ravenette, who was still seeking Quirk counselling for the issue, but it was rather annoying when it did happen. It was gross, and it was pedophilic, but due to it being a side-effect from her life experiences, mixed with the dramatic amplification her Quirk caused, it was something that Yoshihara had to, albeit annoyingly, have to overlook for the time being.

The golden underline was that she was seeking counselling for it, so it wasn't all bad.

By the time Nemuri came out of her room, Yoshihara was already gone and off to school. The walk wasn't all that long, nor was it short, and it was more or less middle of the road. She usually didn't make any pitstops when walking to school, not that she cared to do so in the first place. She wanted to be on time for her classes. That way, she could have some time during lunch to find that green-haired boy.

Upon making it to the school, she got straight to her classroom and took her seat at the back of the class, then moments later, the teacher came in, the bell rang, and classes began.

xxXXxxXXxx

To say that Izuku Midoriya was having a bad day was an understatement. Classes had just ended for a lunch break, and already, before he could get to his locker, one of Kacchan's friends decided it was a good time as ever to start picking on him.

The boy's name was Takime Shinguichi, his Quirk being called Stretchy Long Fingers. The ability was in the Quirk's name. The boy had long fingers that could stretch up to twenty meters in length, any longer, however, and they snap back like a stretchy band, causing knuckle pain.

Takime was your stereotypical lanky teen with brown hair covering his eyes and a pointed chin. Izuku, for his part, was just as lanky, though not as tall. However, his hair was puffier than short and thin, nor was it long for that matter.

Both teens wore the male version of the Aldera Junior High school uniform. A black blazer with yellow buttons, black pants, and while usually, most kids kept with the normal black shoes, Izuku took it upon himself to wear a pair of red sneakers. That way, he didn't look like he was about to attend a funeral.

Currently, he was being lifted up in the air by his collar, while another boy with a water Quirk was spraying him—no—dousing him in water. While Izuku was annoyed by this, it was better than being pelted with explosions by Kacchan.

"See, Deku, that's what happens to Quirkless shits like you who want to be a wannabe hero!" Takime spat, dropping the boy in a puddle of water as the other boy kicked him, making the greenette wince. After a few seconds of the two boys laughing at the green-haired boy, they walked away, leaving the once clean and non-soaked teenager by himself.

His teachers were going to scold him for being so wet, and even if he tried to defend himself, they weren't even going to bother to listen. It was awful.

Picking himself up off the floor, Izuku made his way to the bathroom in a vain attempt to dry off. As soon as he entered, he was greeted by a messy, unclean, and, more importantly, full bathroom. People were smoking, listening to loud music, and… whatever the heck those moaning sounds were.

Nobody paid him any mind, which was a good thing. Making his way past a few people, he grabbed a few pieces of paper towel before scampering out of the bathroom. As soon as he got out, he started wiping himself down, muttering under his breath about how "he'll never get dry enough before class" and "his teachers are going to rip him a new one" over and over again.

That was until…

"Hey!"

The boy immediately perked up at hearing another voice in the hallway. He saw a bunch of people, but there was one that was in front of him. The person in question was a golden-blond-haired girl. She had blue eyes, and for whatever reason, a smile on her face.

"U-Uh… are you talking to me?" Izuku asked, pointing at himself as the girl's smile faltered for a few seconds, her eyebrow raised for a split second before shaking her head, the smile returning.

"Well, duh, who else would I be talking to, the invisible nudist kid behind you? No, dummy, I was talking to you!" The blond-haired girl said, causing Midoriya's eyes to widen.

"OH MY GOD, A GIRL'S TALKING TO ME!" Izuku thought, his mind racing a mile a minute thinking as to why when the girl clapped in front of him. "O-oh, sorry, I-I u-um…."

"No, it's okay, hey, you wanna walk and talk? I kinda don't want all these people staring at us," the blond said as Izuku stood up straight, still dripping in water.

"Y-Yeah! Let's!" He felt as if he was screwing up massively, but instead of her rolling her eyes or acting like he was being a nuisance, she… giggled? Was this some sort of setup? No one in their right mind would just… walk up to him and talk to him? Any moment now, he half expected her to beat him up, but as they walked away out of the hallway, she just seemed to be in her own little world, that was until they got outside, and she turned to him with a smile.

"You're the kid from that video online. The kid who threw the bag at the slime villain not too long ago, right?" The blond asked, catching him off guard. There was a video? Was she here to humiliate him? He hoped not. She seemed nice, and a part of him thought they could be friends, but then he remembered what Kacchan told him a while back.

"Quirkless losers like you don't have friends, Deku, so stop following me around and saying that we're friends, 'cause we're not!"

Of course, he didn't believe that. Kacchan was just in a bad mood that day. He was sure they were still friends.

"U-Uh… Yeah…" As soon as he said that, the blond… fisted the air? Why? She had a goofy smile on her face too. Why was she so happy? Was it because… was it because of him?

"Dude, I can't believe I actually found you! Do you know how hard it was just to track you down? I swear, even with that weird hair of yours, you blend in with everyone else here. It's nuts! I've been meaning to ask you a bunch of questions about that. I don't know what it was, but the way you ran in there and tried to save that kid while all the other heroes did nothing, was awesome! Or, well, actually kinda upsetting since you were the one who basically saved that kid, then All Might swooped in, but that doesn't matter. Oh my god, I can't believe I'm actually talking to you!"

Was she fangirling over him? Why? He didn't do anything remarkable. All he did was make a stupid mistake and ended up getting hurt in the process. For a second there, her face lit up as if she was talking to a hero. He… wasn't a hero. He was just Quirkless. Well, he wasn't a hero yet, he was still training with All Might, and he was even going to get his Quirk, but, right now, he was just a Quirkless loser, just as Kacchan said.

"U-Uh… are you okay? Your face is a little red…." Izuku muttered, causing the girl to stop talking and freeze up.

"O-Oh! Oh my god, I'm sorry. I… I'm just excited, you know. I usually don't do this. It's kind of out of character for me to just fangirl over a guy I just met, but… it still amazes me that you saved someone, all without using your Quirk!" The blond said, causing Izuku to freeze. So that was what it was. She thought he just didn't use his Quirk.

"Oh… Um, sorry. All I did was just mess it up for the other heroes and got caught by the villain. That, and I'm Quirkless…" as soon as he said that, her expression dropped completely. She was probably going to run away and never talk to him again, just like most people did. Then he was going to be alone again-

And suddenly, she smiled again. This time, it was a bit wider than the last one, which confused Izuku more than anything else.

"That's way cooler! You did that without a Quirk! I knew it! Either that or you just didn't want to use your Quirk because of some arbitrary reason that made no sense at all whatsoever. Also, I'm pretty sure that if you didn't throw that bag at the villain's eyes and allowed that kid to breathe, he probably would've died. That kid was purple in the face. No way in hell he would've survived that." Her expression became serious as she slapped him on the cheek. "Have a bit more confidence, will ya?" The blond said, confusing Izuku even more.

"She thought… that was cool?" Midoriya, unknowingly, said out loud.

"OF COURSE I DID! I mean, a Quirkless kid, doing a hero's job better than the hero! How can that NOT be cool!" The blond stated, causing him to pale.

"Gah, I said that out loud! Oh god, I'm sorry!"

"Stop apologizing!"

The two stared at each other for a second, Izuku being concerned and the girl having a serious expression on her face. That was at least before the blond burst out laughing. Wiping a tear from her eye, she calmed down before smiling. "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. Jeez, in all the hype of meeting you, I forgot to even introduce myself. My name is Kira Yoshihara. It's nice to meet you, uh…." She gestured for him to speak, and when she did, his voice came out a bit more squeaky than he would've liked.

"Ah, oh, um, my name is Izuku Midoriya. It's nice to meet you, Kira-san!" The green-haired boy bowed as the girl giggled again, causing him to straighten himself out.

"Well, it was nice meeting you, Midoriya-Kun, maybe we can talk after school—" as soon as she spoke, the bell rang, signifying them to return to class. "Oops, that's the bell, gotta go, talk to you later, Midoriya-Kun!" And with that, Yoshihara ran off to class, leaving Midoriya with a sense of confusion and also a tad bit taken aback by the whole thing.

Did he just… make a friend?

xxXXxxXXxx

Sitting in class, Yoshihara felt a bit flustered.

She did what she set out to do, that being meeting Midoriya, but she hadn't expected him to be a flustered and, quite frankly, sad kid. Not sad as in the emotion, nor sad as in disappointing, but sad as in, he didn't have a lot of confidence in himself. She was sure that could be ironed out, but it felt almost… upsetting. It was like he wasn't even bothering on trying to acknowledge his accomplishments.

As she jotted down her notes, all she could think of was Midoriya. He was, for all intents and purposes, a funny guy. He was a bit of a dork, and he was very, very socially awkward, but from what she could see, he was just a nervous guy with little to no confidence, which wasn't helped by the fact that he lacked a Quirk.

She wondered if he had any friends. Maybe that was the problem? If that was the case, she would be his friend. Don't get her wrong, while Yoshihara liked to be alone, the sounds of peace and quiet allowed her to concentrate more. However, if she was going to be a hero, then making friends was going to be important.

As Yoshihara sat in her class, trying to get the green-haired boy out of her head, she heard giggling coming from the corner of the room. Her eyes quickly glanced over to them as she listened in to whatever the two kids were giggling about.

Yoshihara wasn't a gossip girl, far from it. However, if there was something to listen in on that could potentially be important later, then she would take advantage of whatever information she could get.

"Did you hear? Kira-chan talked to that Quirkless kid!" One of them said as the girl beside her giggled.

"Oh my god, why would she ruin her reputation by talking to that defect?" the other girl said as Yoshihara narrowed her eyes. A part of her wanted to jump down their throats and rip them a new one, but she also knew that getting a smear on her perfect record at school would be a bad choice.

But at the same time, protecting her new friend's dwindling dignity…

Yoshihara shook her head. If she continued to listen, she'd get far too angry to control herself.

After she stopped listening, she looked up at the board, continuing to jot down the notes. The Hiragana on the board was not exactly the easiest to read—the teacher had bad penmanship—but that didn't stop her from doing her best to try and copy it down on a piece of paper.

As soon as she got the last sentence down, the bell rang, signifying the class change. As the teacher wiped down the board and made his way out of the room, Yoshihara felt someone tap on her shoulder. Glancing behind her, she saw the two girls from before who were talking about Midoriya standing behind her.

"Hey, we just wanted to ask, but, tugging on that boy's heartstrings, ya' know, pretending to be his buddy and all?" The girl on the left asked as the girl on the right, who looked identical to the girl on the left, giggled.

The two girls had short black hair, and brown eyes and both of their mouths looked like puppet mouths.

These two girls were the Tiyama twins, and their Quirk was called Puppeteer, which allowed them to turn anyone they wanted into puppets. The more they used their Quirk, however, would progressively make the more puppet-like they became puppets as a result. Every twenty-four hours, they would reset back to normal.

"Yeah, you know that isn't nice, right?" The other twin said as Yoshihara glared at them.

Bullies. She hated bullies. She couldn't stand them. To her, they were a nuisance to society. A nuisance on the same level as low-level street thugs. If she had her way with anyone who hurt those under them, or weaker than them, she'd gladly teach them a lesson they'd never forget.

Unfortunately, right now, in front of a full classroom, with a teacher still in the room, it was a bad idea.

"What makes you think I'm pretending to be his friend? Unlike you two, I'm not a manipulator, so scram back to your seats before the teacher catches you up and about. You wouldn't want to upset the next guy anyway, would you?" Yoshihara said, her voice monotone and casual as the two twins huffed, levelling glares at the girl before returning to their seats.

Yoshihara wasn't too fond of bullies. Before her "Quirk" awakened, she was deemed Quirkless, and for eight years of her life, she was mocked and harassed by everyone around her. But when her "Quirk" awakened, all of that changed. Everyone who hated her suddenly loved her and wanted to be her friend. Of course, she ignored them and blocked them out of her life, and while they were nicer to her, that didn't change her opinion of them.

Bullies were just that, bullies. They could never be friends, nor could they be trusted.

While what the twins said was wrong, she still felt a little wrong for just introducing herself to the kid and then leaving him alone at the end of the lunch bell. At least she said that she wanted to talk after school.

Another part of her also felt embarrassed about the whole meeting. She never fangirled over anyone's actions at all in her entire life, even All Might's. So for her to just… do that in front of a guy, she didn't know the name of made her feel really uncomfortable. But at the same time, she saw what he did to be extremely cool.

He saved a kid's life while the heroes did nothing about it. Sure, All-Might swooped in right in time to take out the villain, but even from the angle of the camera that the guy had recorded, she could see just how pale the hostage's skin was. Just a single moment more, and that kid would've been dead.

And Midoriya saved that kid before any of the heroes even bothered to step up, all while being Quirkless.

She didn't know what happened to the kid after the fact, but she hoped he got a lot of applause or maybe a tip or two from the pros because if it weren't anything but that, she'd be pretty angry otherwise. Then again, there wasn't much the blond would be able to do about it.

Her thoughts were broken by the sound of chalk being put onto a blackboard as the low-sounding voice of the next teacher began to speak, causing Yoshihara to grab her binder and open up to a new page while writing down the notes on the board.

The class went by faster than usual, seeing as she was focused more than she typically was. When the bell rang, she quickly packed all of her stuff into her bag, then, just before she could leave, the sound of an explosion rippled out through the school, causing the other students to stand up. Muttering began to spread through the rest of the class as the teacher clapped, getting everyone's attention.

"Don't mind that. It's merely Bakugo-Kun. He's most likely venting again. Everyone, remember, today's assignment is simple. Please use the textbook if you have to. This is due Friday. After that, we'll take the next week off of work and watch some movies. Then you'll graduate. Everyone, have a good day!" The teacher said as everyone bowed out for the day.

"Someone else who can use explosions, eh? Interesting…" Yoshihara thought, glancing across the hall. The classroom adjacent to hers was the class it came from. Stepping out of her classroom, bag in hand, she watched as the door opened, revealing the inside of the classroom to be a mess, and for a familiar green-haired boy looking scared at another blond boy, sparks flying from his hand. She was close enough to hear what the boy was saying, so she listened in.

"Listen here, shitty Deku. If you don't pull your fucking application from U.A., I'll make you wish you hadn't, do you understand?" The blond boy growled, which caused Yoshihara to clench her fist. She might not've known Izuku for more than a few minutes, but she couldn't stand bullies.

Walking into the other classroom, she narrowed her eyes at the blond and cleared her throat, catching his attention. "Hey, asshole. Look over here," the blond did as she asked, followed by everyone else in the room as muttering began to erupt from the other students in the class. Ruby-red eyes met baby-blue ones as the blond boy snarled, glaring at the girl.

"The fuck do you-"

Before he could continue his sentence, a pink, black-gloved arm zoomed out from Yoshihara's shoulder as a fist slammed into Bakugo's face, blood exploding from his nose as the boy was sent flying back into the wall near the windows, smashing through two desks as Izuku looked at her wide-eyed.

A violent pink aura flared around Yoshihara as the class gasped and muttered more. Bakugo began to stand up, only for Yoshihara to close the distance, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt, angry blue eyes burrowing into his red ones, blood leaking down his lip and nose as he stared up at her, dazed but angered.

"Now you listen to me, bub, if I hear another threat towards him one more time, next time, I'll punch you so hard that the wall won't save you from falling to your doom, do I make myself clear?" Yoshihara spat as the boy didn't speak. Instead, an explosion erupted between the two, knocking the blond girl away from the boy as she sputtered, catching herself before she fell from the pain in her chest.

The blond-haired boy snarled at Yoshihara, rubbing his nose as he grunted. Flecks of blood covered his fist as he scoffed, glaring at the golden-blond girl as he cracked his neck, spitting out blood from his mouth.

"Whatever, fuckin' extra. Defend Deku all you want, but you just earned a target on your back, watch yourself, bitch," the blond snarled, grabbing his bag as he wiped his nose and mouth. All the teacher could do was stare with wide eyes as Yoshihara's aura died down. The blond teen coughed into her hand as Izuku scampered over to her, a worried expression on his face as he grabbed her shoulder.

"Kira-san, are you-"

"I'm fine, Midoriya-Kun. Let's go," Yoshihara said, shrugging the boy off of her, and sending a glare in the teacher's direction. "You watched a poor, defenceless boy get bullied, and it took another student to step in to stop it. You're a disgrace to the profession of being a teacher, and you should be ashamed." With her peace said, Yoshihara grabbed Izuku's hand, dragging him out of the classroom as the green-haired boy was able to grab his bag just before they left the room.

Upon making it out of the room, Yoshihara let go of his hand as they walked. The blond girl had more of a sense of annoyance in her step, whereas Izuku was more anxious. As they left the school, Izuku finally spoke up.

"Y-You know, you r-really didn't have t-to do that Kira-san…." As soon as the green-haired boy said that, Yoshihara stopped, causing the soft-spoken boy to make an "eep" sound as the blond turned around.

"Midoriya, let me level with you. I may not know you that well, but from what I heard, you plan to go to U.A., right?" Yoshihara asked as Izuku nodded, looking away shyly.

"I know… pretty stupid, right. B-But I made a promise to someone, so I can't break it. I'm going to go to U.A. regardless of what anyone says!" As soon as the green-haired boy made his proclamation, Yoshihara poked him in the chest, hard, making him stammer.

"Oh yeah? Well then, as your new, and from what I can assume your only friend, it's my job to push you. From what I saw back there, to me, that doesn't look like someone who is ready to go to U.A., so you know what, I want you to prove to me you got what it takes. By the end of this semester, once we all graduate, I want you to stand up to that bastard I just punched in the face and say, "I'm going to U.A., and there is nothing you can do to stop me," to his face without stuttering, or flinching, or in any weak-ass muttering voice. I want to hear that from my classroom across the hall. Think you can do that?" Yoshihara challenged as Izuku swallowed.

"But… Kacchan is also my friend…." Izuku muttered, causing Yoshihara to raise an eyebrow.

"Really then, well, where was this "Kacchan" when you were getting bullied by that blond prick?" Yoshihara asked as Izuku looked away.

"That was Kacchan…" it was at this point that Yoshihara pinched the bridge of her nose, letting out an annoyed sigh.

"This poor kid…." Yoshihara thought, gritting her teeth beneath her lips, before facing Izuku with a steely-eyed stare. "Midoriya, that… that wasn't your friend. I hate to break it to you. That asshole was nothing of the sort. He's just that, an asshole. If you thought that guy was your friend, then I'd hate to see what you saw as a jerk," Yoshihara stated, causing Midoriya to flinch.

"But—"

"No "buts," Midoriya. He isn't your friend. The sooner you realize that the better you're life will be. Okay?" Yoshihara stated, turning around as she began to walk away. "I have a train to catch. I gave you my number. It's in your blazer pocket. Call me!" Yoshihara called out, running to catch her train as she heard the flabbergasted voice of Izuku off in the distance, letting out a small chuckle as she left.

Meanwhile, back in the school, a boy sat all by his lonesome, his purple hair styled like that of a pompadour as he looked at a picture of a blond-haired girl. The picture was taken in the morning, the girl wearing a school uniform, seemingly on her way to a bus stop. The boy looked at it with little to no emotion, and as he stood up, his purple eyes glanced over at the door to Yoshihara's classroom as his eyes narrowed.

"There's no doubt about it. She's a Stand User." And without any other words, the kid grabbed his backpack and walked out of the classroom he was in.
