บท 19: This is how I'm going to die...
Outside the boss's lair, David, Richard, and Cristina sat, regaining their strength and waiting for the lead monster to finish off Erik and Violet.
"David, how long should we wait before we go in?"
Richard Spoke, visibly in a hurry, as he fiddled with his sword and examined the wall.
"Not much, didn't you feel all that shaking? Something's going on. Stay calm."
David said with a calm smile. He longed for the moment to go in and ransack the objects.

'It's a pity I can't enjoy that magician's body.'
David felt a bit of sadness, but it was a sacrifice he was making, as the gains were greater than raping that woman.
'If raped her lifeless body, it wouldn't be strange, for the fact that her body will still be warm and he could enjoy it, right?'

Now he just had to make time for Violet to complete her spell.
The Blightwidow, filled with hatred, pounced with surprising speed and in the blink of an eye was in front of him.
With one of its paws, it launched a powerful attack.

Erik, his face showing a complicated expression at the sight of the towering ten-foot Blightwidow in front of him.
Emitting under strong pressure that made it difficult for him to move, but he managed to dodge the attack, jumping to the side.

He managed to narrowly dodge the Blightwidow's attack, and the whole place shook from the Blightwidow's powerful blows.
However, the attack didn't end there; The Blightwidow spat acid towards Erik.
"Oh no, shit!"
Erik jumps to the side, dodging the acid. Rolling on the ground and getting to his feet, he braced himself for the next attack from the Blightwidow, which was already in front of him, launching another onslaught with its paws.
He moved quickly but failed to dodge the blow completely. His right arm shot upward, leaving a thin trail of blood in the air.
"Ahhh!"
Erik let out a choked cry of pain as he felt the intense stinging in his left arm.
The Blightwidow persisted in its assault, but despite the severe pain, it kept jumping to the side, dodging the furious attacks, staining the ground with its blood.

The cave was constantly shaking from all the attacks of the Blightwidow that had not stopped attacking.
Erik continued to dodge, jumping back and forth, while his 'Savage Regeneration' skill worked on recovering his arm, which had been severed by the spider's attack.
"I gasped... gasped how much... time had passed..." He muttered between groans and looked back.
Violet was still focused on the magic circle, which was quite wide.
At that precise moment, The Blightwidow took advantage of her carelessness and launched a swift and lethal attack.

"Kyyyeyeee!!!!!"
The Blightwidow's attack was so fast that it created friction in the air.
Hearing the sound of the wind, Erik saw the attack come within inches of his head.
"Shit...!"
Seeing that he couldn't dodge the attack, he took a small step backward and the spider's leg went all the way through him.

"Puaj.."
Erik let out a puff of blood on the spider's leg and his expression darkened.
At the same time, however, his body began to recover. The Blightwidow withdrew its paw.

Erik fell to the ground, staring at the ceiling, blood still gushing from his two wounds.
'This is how I'm going to die...'
His vision slowly dimmed and the sparkles in his eyes slowly faded.
However, from deep within him, End Energy began to cover the missing parts.
"Hey, damn spider, where do you think you're going?"
Erik screamed as blood poured out of his mouth with his left arm made of End Energy, as did the gaping hole in the center of his body.
"Kyyyyyeee?"
The Blightwidow looked up at him in surprise to see Erik standing, though he was completely emaciated.
"Kyyyyyyeee!!!"
It lunged at him, determined to finish him off once and for all.
"Die, you fucking bug..."
Erik raised his left arm and brought it down, creating a thin line on the ground.
The Blightwidow, seeing this, sensed imminent danger and jumped to the side without a second thought.
The moment Erik moved his left arm, reality split in two and returned to normal.
The whole place was divided by a line that 'Erased' everything in front of it.
Erik fell to the ground, and his consciousness faded. Blood gushed from his left arm and the huge hole in the center of it, stained much of the floor with blood.
And where Erik is lying a large pool of blood was created.
Violet opened her eyes. Above the magic circle was an imposing ice spear, which radiated immense power throughout the place.
She looked around for Erik, but he was nowhere to be found.
'Has he abandoned me too?'
Was the first thought that crossed Violet's mind as she found no trace of Erik.
She looked, down, and saw Erik's body lying on the ground. His left arm was missing, from which blood was still flowing, and he had a deep hole in the center of his body from which blood was also dripping.
"... W-what... W-what..."
Violet panicked as she saw Erik's condition and the spell she had spent so much time on was almost canceled because she lost concentration for a second.
'Shit, what do I do now? If I launch the attack, they may reach him'
He didn't know what to do right now; doubts filled his mind as he tried to maintain the spell.
However, she focused on Erik's body, which was slowly regenerating, which surprised her.
But she also noticed that the spider was approaching where Erik was. She hesitated for a moment but shook her head to push those thoughts away.

Violet shouted with tears in her eyes and a hoarse voice, launching a huge ice spear towards the Blightwidow.

The spear flew through the air at breakneck speed, generating friction in its wake.
In an instant, he was within striking distance of the Blightwidow.
"Kyyyyyyeee...!!!!"
The Blightwidow, alerted by its instincts to the danger lurking behind it, swung its hulking body...
BOOM! RETUMBLE!
A mighty explosion rumbled through the boss's lair, followed by a powerful tremor that shook the whole place.
Large stones from the ceiling began to collapse, crushing the monsters entangled in the cobwebs.
The place seemed to be on the verge of collapse due to the powerful spell Violet had conjured.
Swoosh!
A few seconds passed, and the dense cloud of toxic dust began to dissipate.
Violet ran to where Erik's body lay. At the sight of him, tears began to flow harder, mourning his death.
"Why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why?" she murmured through her tears, hugging Erik's body tightly, even though his body was regenerating.
Violet cried like a little girl, feeling that if she had been a little stronger, she could have avoided this outcome.
She looked at the huge spider lying completely mangled on the wall, creating a large pool of green blood on the floor.

Once outside the boss's lair again, after the tremors stopped, they were quite surprised.
They had not expected to hold out so long against the boss monster. Even Richard was almost hit by Erik's last attack, which split reality in two.
"Did they survive?"
Cristina asked nervously, breaking into a cold sweat as she looked at the defined line that was very close to them.
Everything they saw had been wiped out of existence.
"I'm not sure."
David is no longer as sure as he was a few minutes before.
He looked at the line beside him, and his body visibly shivered, as a cold sweat ran down his forehead.
"Maybe they are already dead, if they had survived the entrance would have been destroyed."
Richard commented, still shaking and affected by the attack, which almost reached him.
If he was just one centimeter to the right, his entire existence would have been split in two.
"You're right, let's go in."
David said with a little more confidence. He stood up and concentrated all his magical energy into his shield to knock down the entrance, then threw a punch towards the wall blocking the entrance.

The whole wall flew off, and they nervously entered the boss's lair. When they entered, their mouths dropped open.
The whole place was full of craters everywhere, with lots of rocks strewn about, and they could also see toxic puddles and above all lots of blood.
They watched all this while swallowing saliva with difficulty. Then, they rested their eyes on Violet, who was still in tears, hugging Erik's body tightly.
And this scenario, caused a big, distorted smile to play on their lips.
This was the chance to finish them both off and get all the rewards!
