"Do you think that I believe that? You took pity on Erika?" Adrian questioned her. He knew about how Felicia had always wanted to downgrade Erika and of course, there was no way he was going to believe that Felicia would take pity on her.

"I felt touched when she pleaded," she continued to lie through her teeth. Despite knowing that Adrian didn't believe that part of her words, she didn't care. "So I'm going to fulfill her wish and make sure to never break Ethan's heart," she grinned from ear to ear.

Adrian stared at Felicia for a few seconds before he spoke, "Get ready! We will be going to the hospital soon."

Immediately, Felicia sprang up from her seat and dashed back inside her room. "I need to get properly dressed for this day," she said to herself.
