บท 190: The kidnapping

Henry froze in his place, his hands trembling on the steering wheel. His mind raced, paralyzed by the sudden turn of events. For a moment, he couldn't even process what had just happened. He forgot to drive away, not even daring to breathe.

A sharp knock on the window jolted him out of his stunned state. His head snapped toward the sound, only to find a gun barrel aimed directly at him. One of the masked men leaned in and shouted, "Open the door and come out."

Fear clamped down on Henry like a vice. His hands trembled uncontrollably as he fumbled with the door handle. His mind screamed to run, but his body refused to obey. Slowly, he stepped out of the car, his legs weak beneath him.

"Who are you? What do you want?" he stammered.

"Move," the man growled, shoving him toward the waiting Range Rover with a force that nearly sent him stumbling.

"You've got the wrong person," Henry explained. "Please let me go. I need to get to the hospital—it's urgent!"
